Its normal for those things.

After a while, the door will be lighter to open. My 2 front doors are easier to open now compared to the 2 back door. Mostly only myself driving or +1 passenger only. Thats why the door which is used often will be lighter.

As for the wind noise, at first i only notice outside sound above 100km/h. But nowadays i notice that even when waiting for traffic light, i can hear the motors outside more obvious compared to when i just get the car.

The only thing i miss is the front parking sensor. That will be very helpful when parking.

Anyone know how much it cost to replace 1 side mirror? My side mirror was knocked down.

When I first got the car, it is quiet when below 100km/h. Once go above 100 then will start to hear wind noise or tire noise ( not sure which, can't distinguish)

Few months later, I notice that the engine sound is more obvious and I can hear the motors passing me more clearly compared to when I just got the car. (Not too sure about this as I cannot have direct comparison between my car now and few months ago)


Also just an update to anyone who wants to know how much 1 side of our side mirror cost, it is RM1057.76 from Honda. They gave me a 15% discount which brings it down to RM899.096.
Spray paint fee RM120, Service fee RM80. Add another 6% gst will bring it to RM1165.

Local workshop don't have spare parts for new civic yet. They say Honda controls the spare parts.

The other party is a motor. He want to settle it.
I went to the police station and the police officer said not possible to claim a motor's insurance.

Yea, as long as they have 3rd party insurance then i should be able to claim from his insurance. But the police officer was like damn sure that cars can't claim motor's insurance. Probably cause normally motors dont get insurance? Not sure..

First time I know i can claim from my own insurance without impact to NCD.

But in my case, the motorist is a very good person. He already paid me full. Already placed the order for the parts, need to wait for honda to call me to go install.

Just now kena a stone chip to my wind screen too. Straight away have a huge 20 sen sized chip/crack like a flower.

Was driving at north south highway around 360km area, north bound.

The crack is all the way to the inside but can't feel the crack from the inside due to the tint. The tint prevents the minor glass pieces from going everywhere inside the car.

Anyone facing the brake having vibrate when you are almost stopped but then let go the brake at the last second right before the auto brake is engaged?

The brake pedal will vibrate and the car will produce a weird sound. Not sure how to describe the sound. it feels like the car wants to move but at the same time, the brake wants to engage.
