The “Best Time to Get Best Protection” promo sees Honda Malaysia (HM) offer the Ecotint RayBarrier Splendour window film at RM850 to all new and existing Honda owners, valid from now until March 29. This represents savings of 61%, or RM1,350 over the normal price of RM2,200. The warranty is five years. We checked and yes, existing customers are welcome.
Worth to get this? |

Got my new car last week, just hit 300km,and I started hearing some weird sound from the right of my dashboard. Guess it's the known rattling noise...
Is it a common problem and can be easily solved by SC? |

QUOTE(iamiman @ Apr 4 2017, 09:12 PM) Yups. Thanks to the guy. I followed his method and then issue a complaint and possible solution to SC Bangi and they informed me they have fixed it. Left my car today for A & B services from 9am and at 12noon car is ready. So you solved it by putting something in the pillar A? Or the SC fixed for you already? How they fix it? Picked up at 5pm after meeting n so far rattling sound does not occur. I Don think I should put something to solve the rattling sound, instead Honda should fix it permanently. Ain't gonna stuck a paper there for a new 100k++ car... Lol |

QUOTE(youami @ Apr 4 2017, 10:43 PM) I had get it fixed by SC.They will just open up the A pillar and dashboard. What they had done I am not sure as i left my car there for 2 days. However, I did mention on my last post regarding this issue after i came bk from SC. This rattling sound will continue after all especially if u are driving in areas with alot speed breakers. The more bumpy and uneven, the easier the rattling sound will come back. I believe there is yet to have a complete solution yet. Cross finger mine i drove for a week already after the fix there is no rattling sound yet but when I hit those super thick speed breaker especially those in red color I will still get some small rattling aound. Still bearable but when on uneven road there is no sound at all compare to before. Thanks for the info Called the SC and they will fix it when i do my first 1,000km services. |

QUOTE(Fattyboy1 @ Apr 4 2017, 10:59 PM) At first, I believe that SC should solve all my rattling problem given its 100k++ price. Yes they successfully fixed my ultrasonic sensor casing rattling problem which was giving me headache (literally) due to metallic rattling sound at high pitch. However for other rattling sources, i have started to diy by using sponge as long i don't dismantle the plastic cover. All i did was to insert sponge into those A pillar plastic gaps for dampening. It worked for me and a few others in this forum. Also under the dashboard cover right side near the steering column, there is a wire which brushes the plaster panel causing rattling. so i inserted a piece of sponge in between the wire and panel which solved the rattling. Those that i can solve diy without going to the service centre i will solve. But those rattling from my driver door armrest panel i cannot solve which I will lodge a complaint in my next service interval visit. And i hate making frequent visit to service centres. I am also curious to know whether other cars got this kind of rattling problem. Miss my old Honda Accord 1997, which did not have this kind of nonsense rattling noise...even it's old...haha..I even inserted sponge under the third brake light casing which has reduced rattling noise. In short, i m curious whether toyota altis or mazda 3 or nissan sylphy has the same rattling problem. |

Just notice there is a bar on the meter panel with 0, 20 & 40 interval. I guess it is an indicator for fuel economy. Any tips to achieve maximum 40 always? It keep moving between 0 to 40...

QUOTE(isr25 @ Apr 12 2017, 09:54 PM) The only way you can get maximum 40 for a long time is by driving down a mountain, with either very lightly tapping on the accelerator, or not hitting the accelerator at all Thanks. I noticed whenever I press the brake, it can easily get full 40. So was thinking how it works. Hehe |

QUOTE(hoss @ Apr 16 2017, 10:58 PM) Bad luck today. An opposite lane lorry gave me this present. Furthermore the dent hit to the edge of the bonnet. Anywhere to fix this? I got dent and scratches on the edge of my bumper last night, hit the road divider during super heavy rain. Got it fixed and repaint at RM120. PM me if u want the contact of the uncle. Somewhere in Maluri, price quite reasonable. |
