Hmm.. Correct me if I'm wrong yeah.. Do you mean DVB-T2 & S2 HD Digital Decoder + Android OS combo? If yes? That's a tough one. And TBH I haven't personally looked into one that does all three well. So dug around and I feel that you can trust either of these 2 options;
Mecool K7
Mecool M8s Plus
Both are from Mecool brand and should be decent. The K7 model does have the better specs (Additional and it's DDR4 RAM & additional Storage). But same SoC, so if you don't need the RAM boost & additional Storage space? The M8S Plus might just do the trick for you whilst saving you some money. It's safe to purchase from Aliexpress.. But full disclaimer yeah, you have the model numbers, etc..so purchase from where you are most comfortable.

Any Nvidia Shield TV Pro 2019 user/owner here? Need some help on testing the following scenario:
Running Netflix on browser. Yes, specifically browser (any) not the standalone app. If it works.

Thanks!

Hey...Your question is quite specific. So you are better off asking it in the dedicated Nvidia Shield Owners thread...I'm intrigued to know why you would rather run Netflix off a browser versus the much superior and well supported Netflix app on the Shield. Want to access other country's library and app too hot for the location masking software? hmm.gif

At least they also made it in black.. haha. Also that remote though, no dedicated media control buttons(Play, Pause, FF, RWD,etc). Makes me wonder though if the directional + Enter button can be used as dedicated media buttons.

Interesting, looks like there are 2 editions... the KM6 Classic Edition & the better KM6 Deluxe Edition, both are powered by the same Amlogic S905X4 Quad core ARM Cortex-A55 SoC. The most important features of the new Amlogic S905X4 SoC are:
*2GHz 64-bit quad-core ARM® Cortex™ A55 CPU
*Supports OpenGL ES3.2, Vulkan1.1, and OpenCL2.0
*AV1 video codec up to 4K@120fps (Royalty-free video coding format & better compression than H.265)
*VAD, ASRC/EQ/DRC, 2xHiFi4 Acoustic/Audio DSP

Not Astro user. Can't help you much. If the box are andoird base and you can install app you can try install 3rd part hue sync app such as Hue Stream from PlayStore.
Else you will need the expensive Hue HDMI Sync Box.

There isn't a "Play Store' per se.. What it has is access to a bunch of Chromecast specific/dedicated apps. I aim to get my hands on a unit..just for kicks. smile.gif . No idea when Google will make it officially available here. So have to wait for either that or grey import.

based on the review, its should be come with play store since its running android TV.
its like MI TV stick but hardware size more powerful since its able to handle 4k with HDR.

i hv nvidia shield and able to play some with with the gamestream ( require GTX card on ur PC to stream the games, i able to stream games on my steam as well) but still. i dont like how it handle the latency on the video. still hv few ms lag but not always. still playable.
the concept i think should be same as steam link, but the optimization im not sure. since it require GTX card, so i guess it might use the GTX powerful card to do some enhancement on the streaming video.

on the new chromecast with google tv on the other hand, its low spec device than nvidia shield but it able to support stadia. google own game streaming service. this 1 im not sure on that device but u need stable server to play it.
same when i play nvidia shield with GeforceNow. we dont hv asia server, it always lagging. around 100-600ms. for me its not playable.

Hi Sifus,
I own a Mecool MS8 Pro L TV Box.
Been trying various versions on Astro Go but could get it to work properly.
Able to login and get to the menu but cant play any channels/video....something about playback issue or screen is just black.

Just would like an advise on which is the working version and i can google it from there.

Thanks in advanced.
