My apoloigy if this is not the right place to raise my question.

I want to connect my mobile phone to my Himedia TV box via usb and then use the mobile camera for Zoom. Tried it but I cannot get the image on the screen. Set MTP for USB transfer. What else should I do? Bought a webcam 1080p but the image is very poor, very noisy. Returned it. Thus thinking of this mobile to TV box option. Thanks.

Thanks.

Yes, I saw a video on using mirror while searching for answers on the web.

Dont know why, my preferred solution is running Zoom in the box and with external camera. Ha.

Will try out the mirroring and see.

Thanks.

P/S Tried the mirrorshare from my mobile (HW Mate 8) to tv (plasma Panasonic). Success but video quality is bad, breaking and lagging. This may be due to the old mobile and tv I am using. Tried to find a suitable HDMI to bypass wifi but no such HDMI with the micro usb plug. So maybe now just use mobile for zoom!

Need advice what is the best sub rm200;tv box available?
Usage mainly YouTube , local tv channels, browsers (to access streaming websites). If got football live channels , Chinese, English movie/ series would be better.
Requirement for the box is not easy overheating as I saw some feedback here tx6(commonly sell on Shopee/Lazada) tends to overheating. Thanks

Not bad.. Especially since they found a functioning hack for Netflix up to 4K UHD. Let’s see how long it lasts..

Been busy these past few weeks.. So not my best work. sweat.gif Enjoy nonetheless as you'll definitely notice some improvement beyond using default settings. I also go into details explaining what some key options in the settings mean and what does what. Which to toggle and which to leave as default.

pro... you may already have an old pc/laptop gathering dust...so can put to use without spending much

con... probably no HDMI out, probably no hw h264 decode so may stutter, high power use, fan noisy, bulky,....etc

other than androidx86, got others out there like primeos, phoenix os, bliss, etc.... if running Linux, you can try anbox container

android box still hard to beat as small/cheap media device imho

Bossku...Yup... Seen tiny Beelink GT1 Mini 2 beat recently built RM2k laptops where media playback is concerned. Much less older specced PCs. Boils down to device specific usage. One was built for productivity with media on the side, and the other was built for media with productivity on the side. So no surprises there. Nevertheless, as a tinkerer.. I do agree, no harm trying to first bend whatever device you already own to your will.. Then if really can't or the hassles are too much that you can't live with? Then for sure, save yourself headache and just get a box like most here have. smile.gif

hi. i have tx6 (4gb ram 32gb rom). change the launcher from default alice to smart launcher 5 and install family link from google.

i own ipega 9157 and have been trying to get this gamepad working correctly on tx6 via buletooth. whenever it is connected, the gamepad assume it is in vertical orientation while the display orientation is in vertical.

no weird behaviour if the gamepad connect to my phone.

Hi... I'm a bit confused with the bold part... What game is causing the issue? Does the issue happen with all games or just a particular one? Try certified gamepad friendly games such as Gameloft's Asphalt series or an emulator perhaps.. Same issue?

all games. game run properly on landscape, the gamepad however act as if it on potrait doesn't matter what app or games I'm in.

my tx6 is on android 9.

you can view screen record here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1EGH6whqm4E...lSiBXzj-E6rJ58X

edit: the gamepad is connected in direct connection in Shooting Plus v3 app. it say, some chipset are incompatible, require usb debugging and some extra steps to install driver (i think) and need to use pc.

So far the tx3 is meeting my expectations. Live tv, movies, series for both English and Chinese language that I need are mostly available, although need to switch across different apps. No overheating issues observed. Hope it can last long. Happy user so far biggrin.gif
One question, is it advisable to properly shutdown android tv box every time(like phone), or I can switch off the power supply straight without much concern?

Anyone owning the TX6S here?

I noticed it has doesn't connect to any Wifi networks with DLINK Smart Connect and the menu navigation is laggy.

Looking to flash the firmware fix but I'm not sure if it would wipe everything from the device.

Ah i see... if all games including those with actual dedicated support for gamepads? Then I fear it's an imcompatibility issue either from the firmware or the controller itself. Especially as the controller requires a third party app to function. I prefer the GameSir World App for GameSir controllers. Personally, I'm using the GameSir G4S and recommend getting GameSir controllers if you one is going the third=party route. The SteelSeries Stratus is better but a bit pricey. Ipega also makes decent gamepads too.. Basically, it's either go official with Xbox or PS controllers or get either of those 3 third-party controllers. Their support is great.

What controller are you using though and if confirm it has issues with Gameloft games? Then it really can't be helped. Have to change controllers or consider flashing a different firmware/factory reset. Worst case? different box. I've been using the G4S with PC, Phones and few Beelink boxes.. It works alright.

ATV fan here too.. Had a Mecool KM3 for awhile and it was a small okay-ish device. now used to more powerful stuff, so.......but yeah, need note that these "fixes" depends on Netflix not closing the loophole being exploited. So for those who'd want rest of mind? Go for certified devices.

Great...TX3 goes on my happy users list.. biggrin.gif

Yes, it's advisable ... Same with Kodi. Ideally and to prevent data corruption. Either put the box in sleep mode and wake up when neccessary.. Occasionally performing a full shutdown once or twice per week to "get things sorted" and stored properly.

If the fix is contained in an updated firmware file to be flashed via USB burning tool.. Most likely it will require a full wipe. So I would expect it wipe the device. Backup what you can and flash away. Most key apps either have settings backup options or can be easily reinstalled. Just some time required to re-setup. Worth it IMO, for a clean device.

Yes you can.. Several ways actually depending on if you want to use just LAN or WAN or both interchangeably. You can natively setup FTP or SFTP or NFS or SMB...or setup a networked drive/folder on windows, then using dedicated file explorers on Android like Xplore or solid explorer to connect and transfer between each other.. Alternatively, if you just want a box that comes preset as a NAS and “simply works”? Check out my review video of the Beelink GS-King X. I show how easy it is to setup and operate. You can transfer files back and forth, also play files on either easily... Check my previous posts or link in my signature below.
