Isn't that only for Unifi customers - you need to login, right? I'm using Time BB.

If anyone is using a paid IPTV service that reliably provides SkySports F1 and BTSports in HD, I'd like to know. smile.gif I've used various free apk's but they often buffer at the worst moment.

i tried these steps to get YouTube 4k on

1. T95z plus
2. Mecool M8S pro L

https://zappiti.uservoice.com/knowledgebase...et-top-box-vers

so Google Widevine DRM level 1 for ? Only good for Netflix
T95z plus no certified also can get 4k youtube.

By the way, playing 4k h265 movie, only picture, no sound.
Do i need to install specific codec?

You can try it out and good luck. Personally, I stay away from pre-installed anything.. Even Kodi builds.. Better to buy a confirmed solid device and customize to ones on taste. Mind you, not saying the box isn't good for you. Just that I won't get it for myself.

You should search this forum first for reviews of the MX10 and see what has been said of it (if any). Do take note that those apps you listed, are tricky and will only run okay on select devices only. Read thread.. Been discussed.

To be honest, TV boxes are difficult for elderly people if they are not good with technology. My parents are not well-verse with IT stuff and it is really difficult for them to learn and use. That's why I stick to Astro at home while I use Android box at my own place.

If you intend to find a box which works like Astro, turn on and can straight select channels via remote, there's none. All Android boxes require one to navigate from apps to apps and select from there.

What content do you want your folks to watch? Netflix hd? myiptv 4k similar to astXX, youtube that'll help?

My neighbor folks uses below, paired with myiptv 4k (per annum subs is abt $270), has youtube but don't watch netflix hd although the box is capable

Below is among the top 5 android os tv boxes, but at much cheaper than xiomi mi box

Thanks for your helpful suggestions. Settled for a Infinite box on a whim. There's a learning curve, hopefully it gets easier over time. I have yet to attempt to install Netflix on the TV box, let them familiarize with basic functions like the live channels, etc first.

Why would you guys be using Netflix where there are countless VOD apps that stream free movies and series etc?

Any other reason besides wanting 4k quality? Maybe you guys just too loaded and dont know where to splurge?

Ever since Terrarium is dead, it's really difficult to find a reliable and fast streaming site. I gave up and paid for Netflix plus coupled it with YouTube since some of the shows are not available on Netflix. That said I'm not a frequent English content streamer but I still watch from time to time.

TLDR... Netflix like premium RD and private trackers, makes for simple and easier INSTANT streaming of content..FHD/UHD+HDR with surround sound + subtitles. It has an excellent UI that both older folks and kids can navigate. App's inbuilt in the TV, so just switch on.. HT powers up too and no need to worry about fiddling with my Minix android box.. laugh.gif

Despite my ehem access and experience, I've been a Netflix sub for about 6 years or so.. Yeah, grandfather plan and I've watched the service grow from strength to strength.. Sometimes, you just want something that always works.. 99.9% of the time with near zero faults. Netflix is it. Take for instance, SO and I have been watching the show "Grey's Anatomy". Neither of us had the chance to diligently follow the show during it's glory days. Can I find entire seasons of it on private trackers and stream? heck yeah!.. But that's just me.. I'm the tech-inclined fella in the family.. Rest couldn't be bothered. So to make my SO and their lives easier? I allow the netflix sub to go on.. SO can wake up in the middle of the night and continue shows or movies where she left off without waking me up from sleep to ask why "no links were found" to play content x.. Similarly, no issues when I'm outstation. There's even a guest profile where guests can choose what to watch.. All without affecting our personalized profiles. Lastly, most of Netflix originals are great.
