Gamuda Cove Water Theme park breaks ground

were rumors of disneyland to be build here + JV with gamuda..this indeed brushes it off

Dun think Disneyland will ever come to Malaysia.....Malaysia market is too small for them....

after what happened between genting-fox, i doubt it will ever come here

So far, i didn't hear any rumors about disneyland.

"Meanwhile, the 23-acre Discovery Park at Gamuda Cove will be open on Dec 14 while the Paya Indah Wetlands is scheduled to be opened in early-2020. Jointly operated by Gamuda Cove and the Department of Wildlife and National Parks, Peninsular Malaysia (Perhilitan), the wetlands is being rebranded as the Discovery Wetlands. "Visitors can look forward to raw and rustic activities such as cycling, fishing, bird watching, horse riding and bamboo trail walking at the wetlands," said Soo."

I am not sure Disneyland story with Gamuda, but previously Selangor MB was claimed that he is in the midst of discussion that there are 3 international theme park, Disney World, Fox World, Universal Studio are interested to set up theme park at Kuala Langat sometime back.

If that happen, Malaysia is the world first country to host for that 3 major theme Park.....

Top range developer put in hundreds million ringgit investment, of course they are already factored in the location, government direction, the consumer crowd, and etc. The set up, pricing of the township indicated that the developer only targeted quality buyer, like others gamuda project. Beside the distance to work, how about the low density, the green, the resort lifestyle, the branding of the township? All these come with cost.

Good value products offer large built up square feet, freehold title, low maintenance fee. But premium product deliver serene environment, quality neighborhood, better master planning of township, which the old, freehold township that cannot offer.

something never lies, which is the distance to centre of gravity, you can build as many highways but distance between point A to COG remain the same.

old grandpa story about Puchong and Subang Jaya far lah nobody wants lah…...it has its story. Try travel from subang Jaya to Golden Triangle during 70/80 and you will feel the pain. the only highway available then was the good old fedhwy.

now the story is 'slightly' different. with more HWY available and been built, travel time seem to be better managed but this will never alter the travel distance. if far away land is as promising as closer but older township, then please explain why Canal City, Puncak Alam and Semenyih remain as what they are now with subsale prices took a heavy beating?

What about amenities like school, market, tuition centers, eateries, etc?

Currently this paya indah wetland can be accessed from Jalan Dengkil-Banting and all Gamuda lorries are brutally using that particular road passing by through Jalan Arked Perdana. Hopefully Gamuda can open the access from Gamuda Cove to Jalan Dengkil-Banting asap as per their masterplan map. I believe the next upcoming WCE highway banting interchange will be somewhere nearby bukit mahkota, banting. Around 15 mins drive from paya indah wetlands

Looking at their plan. They will have access to paya indah wetland. But the question is are the upcoming ‘discovery wetland’ will be using the current entrance of paya indah wetland beside the PLKN?

if tis is the case... would it be the housing nearby will be able to rent out like AirBnb?

some more promised that after 3 years the flyover confirm available ... haha

Sales persons there mentioned that flyover will be built to Cyberjaya and Putrajaya.
They even mentioned there is a future 'kerajaan' plan of MRT / LRT to GV si bo ...

what is GV?
