QUOTE(degionz @ Jul 7 2025, 07:36 PM) QUOTE(degionz @ Jul 7 2025, 07:40 PM) Would be very not easy to find....Maybe round 5.8-6% pa with very long locking period unless you are near age 50, can try kwsp but subjected to max 100k deposit per year. Unless you try those cash trust funds which were offered by those trust companies and not subjected to BNM purview. There is an existing thread Ubb CASH TRUST 3 years nett 6-8% pa anyone?, https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/4801818 This post has been edited by MUM: Jul 7 2025, 07:47 PM |

QUOTE(kazekage_09 @ Jul 24 2025, 08:47 AM) Can anyone explain how the 30% dividend withholding tax for US ETF works? Yes. Give 100 dividend. But you only received 70.For example the ETF give me 100 usd in dividend but I'll only get 70 usd? can i reduce or avoid it? any strategic tips? thanks No way to avoid. Can buy Ireland-domiciled ETF, which have 15% dividend tax instead of 30%. Example is VUSD equivalent to VOO This post has been edited by buffa: Jul 24 2025, 09:10 AM kazekage_09 liked this post

Anyone here bought some trust fund from FSM? I notice some discrepancy with their chart, fund performance data vs real life performance show on other site.
I open a topic here Any idea why is there such huge difference in their chart plotting as well as their annualize performance data? |

QUOTE(ListenToTheWind @ Jul 24 2025, 02:47 PM) Unfortunately, there is no distribution being declared for the past 1 year. If i am not mistaken, ...in the fsm tool (in fsmone website) there is a table/tool to calculates the performance of a fund based on a "from date" to "to date".I will write in to FSM to seek for their explanation on how they calculate the annualize return. Also ta global tech has split and income distributions history in 2024 and 2025 This post has been edited by MUM: Jul 24 2025, 03:38 PM Attached thumbnail(s) |
