Bear in mind FSMOne processing fee will definitely come back one day. Based on historical pattern, promo for 0 processing fee last for 1 year after which, you'll be charged processing fee

This market is really competitive nowadays with so many trading platforms.

If they can earn enough from FX conversion rate, I think it is possible to offer free RSP. If not, RM1/0.15% whichever is higher will suit most people anyway. Some more they have office in Penang, KL and JB. The customer support is actually good as well.

I have used FSMONE in parallel with IBKR since 2021. FSM also offer instant withdrawal for RM and you can deposit with FPX.

Is it worth the extra hassle and a broker without local office just to save an insignificant amount of fees?

granted, it's not real time sell and there's opportunity cost to wait for it to sell

Plus, there is scheduled selling, not immediate but the price is ok only

Yes, I am using both FSMOne and IBKR.
FSMOne for long term holding ETF Stock, so the selling fees dont bother me. So far all stock and ETF, I bought and never sell, except 1. Now I will just keep holding till the 'end'.
IBKR, I do some short term trading for fun, also buying LSE ETF.

If any new player want to do monthly RSP, I will definitely suggest FSMOne to IBKR.

Once they get used to it, they can decide if they want to spend more effort to save extra money, using IBKR.

I am not a fan of FSMOne but this RSP product on LSE is different. Convenient and cost effective. A win for Malaysian Bogleheads.

my first RSP through FSMONE. though the selling fee is ridiculously high but that should help me from selling it half way.

Yes, that's right.
The high fees stop me to sell during the bear market. Unlike my IBKR account sweat.gif

i am buying VWRA and deduct from USD auto sweep. and yes it will to be fractional as you are investing fixed amount of cash and the stock price will not be same.
you can set to deduct from other cash account too, it will automatic convert to USD. what i did is i top up some amount into USD sweep and let it deduct every month

The same e-mail states:

"Please be informed that opting in to receive a copy of the e-Invoice is voluntary and only necessary if you require an invoice for tax submission purposes. No action is required if you do not wish to receive a copy of the e-Invoice."

I am not entirely sure. For now, we can still use normal receipts as supporting documents for tax relief.

In future, maybe only e-Invoices can be used for supporting documents for tax relief, during income tax filling submission.

you will not receive e-invoice from PRS investment, because PRS investment is 0 sales charge
