Hello, may I ask for your experience or feedback with Lazada Refund?


Actually I asked my friend to help me to buy a camera from Dejitaru at Lazada but it is stuck at "Item being packed and ready for shipment" and the item hasn't been delivered to me until yesterday which is the deadline for the delivery. I have been very anxious and disappointed that there hasn't been any progress on my order yet. I have been calling to Customer Service many times since last week and they are still not able to give me any satisfied response yet. So, I decided to officially cancel my order yesterday and gave them my friend's bank account details. They said it will take 24 hours to 48 hours to cancel my order.

Once they cancel my order, I would like to request for refund. I acknowledge that the refund process will take up to 14 days to complete. However, I would like to ask you if you have faced any unsuccessful refund with Lazada. I would also like to know what if Lazada never returns money to me? Is there any other way to get back my money?

i've had about 3 or 4 purchases that required a refund after the item had been delivered to me. If you request a refund for an item that's delivered to you after returns, the item needs to fulfill certain requirements before the refund request is approved.

However in your case , there shouldn't be any issue as the item never reached you .

Usually the refund process take about 2-4 days if your payment was via internet banking. If credit card 5 to 6 day is usually how long it takes for it to be reflected in your statement.

In the event you experience any events that violates your consumer rights, such as your money not being refunded for an item you never received, you can bring it up with National Consumer Complaint Center which is a platform that is heavily underused by consumers as they are unaware of it.

i once buy a washing machine from them, it takes forever to be delived.. once the item delivered, for some reason i cant refund or request a refund or send the item back as the date for that purpose has already end....

i`m not sure if lazada or the seller purposely do it so that the item cannot be refund back, but for sure i dont have any confidence in their refund system

I think you should be able to return it because the countdown starts from the day you receive the items until the post stamp date of return parcel. Not from the day of purchase or delivery period. I guess you have missed the "train". I hate items take forever to be delivered, especially from Lazada, because there is no way of direct communication between the buyer and the seller. IMHO, this is inefficient at all, unlike Lelong and 11street where you can directly communicate with the seller.

Hi

I dropped off an item for return at poslaju yesterday. Thought this morning i will be able to see the package status via poslaju track & trace but still no record shown.

Based on your ex-return experience, usually how long would it take to appear on poslaju track & trace ah?

Poslaju staff stamped (with date and location) on my refund form and said thats all. No receipt provided...

Hi,

May i know what time did you drop of the item?

Usually the window is 24 hours lead time to be reflected.

I think there may be a delay for this as currently Lazada is coping with their 5th Birthday sale.

Nevertheless , try checking the tracking on maybe second half of today.

By right , the consignment note , they should give u a copy.

Make sure u hold onto your tracking number.

friday i bought a rm 1.8k wide screen curved monitor from lazada, this monday i received a sms said your item refund have been initiated. i use creidt card to buy. i want to ask, will lazada refund money to me or just a rm 1.8k coupon??

Best case - it was refunded almost immediately (there was a note from PMSB saying they received the package badly damaged.) Worst case took about two weeks.

Although i didn't use lazada or do any online shopping that much, but i tried once on last year's 11.11 to get some beauty products for my girlfriend, it got deliver within 4-5 days without any damages on the product. So maybe its the supplier issue i guess?

I got this experience before. they will refund back to credit card in 14 days but they won't inform customer. We need check the by own bank website.

A lot of issue about lazada express and refund. you can check your mail and credit card bill. if don't have you must contact them or commend any post in their facebook page. let everyone know. i have done this before, very quick respond.

my experience:
bought 2 batteries for a certain laptop model
item arrived dead on arrival
but on my lazada dashboard the status is still shown as processing even after 48 hours so I cannot initiate a return via the dashboard. I contacted lazada on their live chat and email, they gave me a manual return form.
I returned the items using pos laju. Once lazada received it, the refund to credit card was swift. They also refunded my shipping cost to return the item.

and you change your mind during the order in process or when the order arrive,

if return the item (still seal) will Lazada make full refund ? or partial refund?

Any of you experience this situation before ?

If it is change of mind, you may just refuse to sign and receive the parcel when it arrives. You tell the shipping partner off that you do not want the product anymore, they will return it back to the seller. They might call you and ask you whether you want to take the product from their office or not. What I did was I just left the item aside and get my refund back after returning back the item to the seller. This overall process might take up to 1 to 2 weeks. If it is possible to cancel your order before delivery, it would be best and you can get your refund within few days.

Full refund. No penalty or process fee. Yup, the package has to be in sealed condition if the reason for return is change of mind. But for my case, nobody was at home to receive the parcel so I didn't give shit about it. For your case, you need to do fill up some online return form from Lazada website. You may refer to the return guidelines provided on the website.

Lazada can get you the best offer for many things. But take note though, their refund system is pretty shit. They don't gurantee their promises and oftenly, they tries bail themselves out of the mess. I've once ordered a food fryer. The fryer did not worked . I powered up a few times and read the manual a couple of times and still the whole crap would not power up. In the end i request a refund. I calls lazada to arrange the refund. They looked pretty "professional" to arrange that but rather trying to close the report as soon as possible. After i sent in the item , they say they'll refund me the postage which they did. But guess what ? They paid an extra RM50 on top of the postage fee. After that, they tell me that they're trying to close the refund report and i've to wait 2weeks for the refund. Yeap you heard that, close refund report but you have to wait for the refund. Which means they wants you have no pending transaction. So that if you kind of waited out 2weeks later, you might forget about it totally. And when after 2 weeks you call them, they give you bunch of excuses that the report has been close and they need time to check it . This is one hell of a scam i've dealt with such a company. At least i bought from lelong, there's no such thing. Lazada ? This is defintely a scam company that do not live up to their refund policy.

is it true that i no need to pay any shipping fee ?

there is a poslaju tracking number on the form and also a line stated "DO NOT charge Customer"

I just paste it outside the box and pass to to nearest pos office ,tats all ?

Recently i have missing refunds from Lazada via payment by Paypal.

paypal stated the money has already refunded but in my bank acc, lazada took my money.

I ordered my item last september 2017, returned the item on october 2017. Now is July 2018, still chasing them for the refund money.

If any Lazada rep sees this, your return policy has zero credibility. Small thing like refund also can't do it right. Lucky my item was not expensive. But a customer is a customer and please do your job right.

Question guys,,the item I just received is defective so I requested a refund from Lazada app...then I get a message n mail saying ..they have received my return item and another saying your refund is being initiated ...but I haven’t even return the defective product ? Do I even need to return it ? Lol??

i order an item on 8nov, in 17 nov they told no stock..ask me order other item...i selected my item and told them but no response..so i decided to refused the offer..
The status of the item is processing(packed)so i cant cancel it..try live chat but all busy

I ordered a laptop dvd caddy. Description says can fit either 9.5mm or 12.7mm. But turns out only able to fit 12.7mm. So I immediately request for refund on the same day I received my item. It got approved the next day and reflected in my credit card.

Problem is i couldnt get to return the item because by the time i want to send the parcel, Lazada does not let me to print the return label form LOL.

I wanted to cancel my order because skynet taking too long to deliver my item, its been 10 days stucked in the warehouse according to the tracking number and 3 days after the promised delivery date. Can I get a full refund in this case?

I bought iphone 11 pro 256gb rm5599 from LAZMALL APPle store on 1st oct..then that cb seller cancelled it. Now already 15 working days passed.(3 weeks).. still no refund yet. 2 months installment already showing on my statement bank. And already dispute to maybank.. currently waiting for the output..

Overall dont buy from lazada..shopee is better. Lazada now has gone downhill. Customer service also so bad..refund policy even worse..

Looks like I’m not the only 1 suffering here. I returned the item on 11 Sep to their warehouse, no updates for almost 3 weeks. Had to keep contact their support, they initiated my refund very late but I was refunded the wrong amount (10% of the actual amount). To date I haven’t got my refund back. Each time I contact support, kept telling me excuses, promise fake deadline and ask me to play waiting game. I fed up already.

For those not getting refund back from Lazada after 5 working days, please do yourself and everyone’s favor and file a claim with TTPM, filing can be done online and very fast and easy. bought phone from seller
seller out of stock for some reason or other
lazada straight gave me a transaction number and asked me to refund with credit card issuer. took around 2 weeks

Question guys,,the item I just received is defective so I requested a refund from Lazada app...then I get a message n mail saying ..they have received my return item and another saying your refund is being initiated ...but I haven’t even return the defective product ? Do I even need to return it ? Lol??

Any update? Just make sure that you print the return label even if you don't hear anything from them.

I made the mistake of not printing and since it has now passed my return period, Lazada are saying that there's nothing that can be done. When all I did was to follow their advice to wait for a call from their return pickup department. I followed up nearly every day and all I got was the same answer: wait for the call.

For context, I purchased a RM5k TV but was sent a damaged display set.

If they outright reject my return, I honestly don't know what to do. Please avoid my mistakes everyone.

That's so distressing. Hopefully, you avoid my mistakes and do the following:

- screenshot/print proof that you have submitted your return request within the valid timeframe
- print the return slip or form
- the day before your return expiry, live chat lazada and get assurances that your case will still be valid after the return expiry date. Screenshot the whole conversation

Hopefully, you'll be able to avoid my situation via the methods above.

After reading feedback on social media and on LYN, I've pretty much resigned to the fact that I'll be given the run-around and eventually denied my return and will have to pursue my case via the Consumer Tribunal or via legal avenues.

In conclusion, if you're buying something expensive, please go via Shopee.

I got a refund which was in the form of a coupon with date of expiry 1 year when the seller could not sent out the item within the allowed time.
I applied withdrawal from my wallet and within 48hrs , money was withdrawn.
But money didn't bank in my account.
Lol.. it's seriously scary when dealing with lazada and buyers have to be very careful.
I've even purchased a fryer oven before. I returned the product because i wasn't able to use it. It couldn't power on.
I sent the item back and lazada called me that they will refund me 1/2 plus the postage fee. Price was RM350 and they paid me RM150 only.
They quickly request to close the ticket and promised will refund the rest of the portion.
After ticket close, they never call me back and when i called them , it's always long queve.
It's a dubious corporate that always tries to eat your refunds.

I got same case as urs, defect items, so did u post back the item to seller?
Btw, we need to pay the postage costs to return the item? Or its free just drop back at lazada express return point?

I've worse experience with Lazada. I bought a furniture and it's never delivered and yet the system shows 'delivered to Cameron Highland'!. I asked for refund and the chat CS just said will get back to you in 1-3 biz days. Shld I lodge a Police report?

But the item still with me. Item is worth less than rm20.

Small problem really...

Had an order with J&J. Still havent received after 3weeks+. I even went to J&T and was rejected when I asked for self collection. Proceed with refunds. Got my refunds, then few days later J&T dropped a package in very bad condition at my office guard house. It was really dented and there was J&T tape all over it. I took pictures and messaged J&J to sent people to collect it. They asked me to sent back to J&T. Hell no... I aint gonna go meet those bastards a second time. I just leave the package in my office until they feel like turning up to collect it. It has been a month since. Amount is RM1xx.

I always have good shopping experience with Lazada. Shopee meanwhile, you will have to go through a lot of processes to get your refund. And sometimes they won't even side you.
