Maybe its just compressed heat killing the hardware inside your small case. RTX 3080 dumping 340W of heat!

My exhaust fan with Noctua NF-A14 ippc3000 running at 2000rpm. Feels like hair dryer with my 5900X + RTX 3080.

It's a sandwich layout so the heat wasnt transfered... the pump just died randomly without warning. Maybe a defect but it's an oem so no warranty. sigh...

But youve seen my case... it's actually very effecient at exhausting the heat. and it's also a dust magnet. using 2 gentle typhoons but since the 10400F is so bloody cold, the fan is set to a static 1500rpm else it will never spin.

Checked my tnb bill since the day I used it, nope it did not add much at all . For normal usage, will be like using zen 2. Hardly can see any real spike. Won't break ur power bills that's for sure even if everyday gaming.

3080 here in SFF, still plays well without air conditioning.

100w difference may seem a lot but it's only about rm26 in monthly electricity bill.
That's also if I pro rate up to 900kWh's rates and also assume you turn on your PC for 24/7.

unless you don't have a rig yet and the electricity bill does concern you, then I don't see a point in getting another intel rig.

Not really the matter of TNB bill, i checked ady the i9 10900K for normal usage also consume around 80-130Watt which is just slightly lower than the 5900X. I just hati gatal want to build an Intel PC, my last Intel PC was an i7 5930K on X99 platform.
