QUOTE(silrave @ Jul 29 2017, 02:38 AM) omg the processor speed and ram speed gg > < why so low?? [attachmentid=9000331] [attachmentid=9000332] The RAM speed is normal..... DDR stands for Double Data Rate..... IDK what it means la but logically and factually the RAM speed are displayed half the advertised speed. The highest in your picture is 1400Mhz so when x2 matches the 2800Mhz advertised speed. I may be completely wrong though..... Did some research As for CPU speed..... Maybe it is just resting and chilling there.....

I dont think it is golden chips, majority of the 1700 can reached that speed with around 1.3 to 1.35v, this is quite normal, but reaching 4ghz with less than 1.4v very rare, mine required 1.4v above to get stable during stability test

That 'Magic 4' is pointless. 3.9Ghz to 4Ghz is very little in performance difference.

Pushed to 1.3875. There is lottery in place for the chips. Yours is one of the better ones.

QUOTE(goldfries @ Aug 5 2017, 10:28 AM) What's your stability test? Didn't even max it out, just crash on Cinebench. I would prime95 it when I get my AM4 kit for NH-D15S.

QUOTE(TristanX @ Aug 4 2017, 10:18 PM) Yup, Ryzen performance increases with higher RAM speed too. Can I know what's the best value for money RAM right now? If I want to OC 1700 to 3.8GHz and without going into diminishing returns.

Normally I do stability test in 2 phases.
First is Cinebench. If it passes Cinebench then I'll run Realbench see if it passes the 15 minutes mark.
