Eh you experienced Ryzen 7 already, it's just a Ryzen 7 with even more cores and threads.

Benefit subjected to software capacity of pushing the threads.

I've proven in my video that even Adobe softwares do not utilize more than 4-6 cores with much effeciency.

Clockspeed still wins in most cases.

However, for transcoding purposes with some specialized softwares as well as running VMs for Unraid and others.
It can get pretty interesting.

Also, I want to test it for 3DSMax and Vray rendering haha

This is correct.

Same I've tested it with Premiere Pro on 4K UHD rendering, there's a limit on how it goes.

One thing for sure, Premier Pro is still better than say Vegas Movie Studio.

It's not just clockspeed but the instructions per clock as well, that's where Intel is still good at.

Maybe you can try set all of adobe premier pro related processes priority to realtime or high and set the affinity all of those thread, to allocate more cpu resources, maybe that will work

That is why I don't like the temperatures at 3.9Ghz@1.35V. Still waiting for NH-D15S AM4 mounting kit.

I used a Thermaltake AIO. Temps quite good. Changed to the ID Cooling one, almost same again.
Going to a custom loop soon.

I think depends on your sample la. You can get to 4Ghz with higher or lower voltage.

anyone here overclocked ryzen 1600x to 3.9ghz? What voltage did you set?

Anyways, asrock ab350 gaming itx/ac doesnt seem to have p-state..

4.0 Ghz unreachable, any higher than 3.8 Ghz instantly crash my computer

wow careful with the temps man [>80c], i scare it might dmg / lower the longevity of the cpu
