hmm need to wait for 7 nm ryzen instead,It make no sense that amd going to release 10 core a year, that going to screw up 1st gen ryzen user,
i think the Zen 2 7nm going to be 10/12 core instead

Looks like someone is targeting AMD again...

https://www.techpowerup.com/242328/13-major...uding-backdoors

http://www.guru3d.com/news-story/13-critic...processors.html

That yahudi company never heard of.. something is fishy, for Intel side, it got some times for its CEO to sell off the shares but never give AMD enough times to react. Let's how Lisa Su is going to respond..

correct me if im wrong

1. like spectre & meltdown, normally will give maybe around 90 days then only google will officially announce to public [maybe is to make sure the severity, authenticity & such idk], not F*CKING 24 hours doh.gif

2. all of these vulnerabilities cant even compare with spectre & meltdown, they are just at psp & chipset instead of the F*CKING cpu... intel doh.gif

3. like u say, its a F*CKING yahudi company no1 heard of, suddenly making disgusting website like ''amdflaws'' doh.gif

here u go triple doh.gif

come on intel, how low can u go, 70~80% ppl are using ur ''full of holes'' chip & still wanna play dirty lol

abit disappointed, was hoping for a more core count [maybe 10c+] cause intel next gen [9700k] will most likely to be 8 cores [rumor] which is going to be out soon [rumor]

i feel that amd gonna lose out if they dont win at the core count, unless their pricing is super attractive

well im mostly just gaming, guess i will need to wait till review come out only decide hmm.gif

i dont mind losing a few fps for more cores or better frame time

im thinking of building a new system with the new lianli case, need to change to a newer better rgb motherboard and cpu cooler too, so might as well change the cpu altogether

Can anyone look at my stats and see if anything is wrong ?

2700X/Wraith Prism/3200mhz ram via XMP

Someone with the same setup cpu+cooler hit 1800, but his is a different ram, same 3200mhz.

I'm still using my old Cooler Master Thunder M 620 PSU, so it might be not good for this ?
*
this is mine but with only 2933mhz [no xmp], but my pc got alot of fans though

finally finish with my ryzen setup, having trouble with the thermaltake rgb setting and control
unable to detect 1 of the controller, having to swap out and try another 1 [alot of try and error during the process], and luckily it works thumbup.gif now able to control and sync all with the software
and the casing glass comes with super tough stain and needed to scrub hard with magic sponge [have been using soap, water, microfiber cloth, nothing works... sweat.gif ]

but kinda regret choosing this pc case, too big and heavy

final touch will be cable management

max clock using pb2 ive seen on ryzen 2700x is 4.45Ghz on 2 cores If im not mistaken. i will try to find the link, forgot already..

and his single thread cinebench scores arouns 190 something.

btw, what ram are u using?
pretty good already. this temp is from using the cooler bundled with 2700x?
*
nope not stock cooler, its a 360mm aio [thermaltake] push? config
but not sure why the pump wont go full speed of 3600rpm, only go half speed max on 1800rpm

thats why i think not that impressive, if oc sure went alot higher, i like my stuff cool for longevity

I'm more concerned of your figures. If your casing temperature is like 30c or more all the time then gg it's going to melt bit by bit.
*
XD its just temporary i think i will remove them, im a little concern too
but i see others put their figures inside case too hmm.gif

wow the precision boost is really able to crank up above 4.3ghz as stated by tristanX shocking.gif
i didnt notice cause before this i only check it with cinebench

i open up hwmonitor with a few games - overwatch, sao fatal bullet & ass creed ori
ow & sao stay around 4.1~4.2 ish, well i think cause those games aint that demanding
but then i open up ass creed ori, the cores able to boost up 4.4 ish & i think i can definitely boost up higher if thrs no limit to it

the ass creed ori is new save game & ive only try out during the starting tutorial area, i think the cores might boost further when thr r more enemies later on

ow setting - 4k, full ultra setting
sao - 4k, ultra setting, aa turn off
ass creed ori - 4k, full ultra setting, aa at low

another thing ive notice is ass creed ori plays a little smoother than my stock 6800k

6800K old stuff. smile.gif Ryzen ftw!

But still not as good as Intel for pushing framerates.
*
yeah definitely nod.gif
for around 60~120fps ryzen do get the job done, even better than intel
for competitive gaming - constant higher fps/super high fps, intel definitely better & able to push higher, thats why i have 2 pc - 1 is for 4k60 immersion gaming [new amd ryzen really FTW thumbup.gif ], another is for 1080p144 competitive gaming

3 games ive try played and got improvement, smoother gameplay [2700x stock 2933 vs 6800k stock 3200xmp] - assassin creed origin/total warhammer 2/dynasty warriors 9, some of these games im able to up just a little bit on the setting

just as @Kidz1995 said, the cores able to push till 4.5 ish [mine at 4487mhz] ohmy.gif
but temp went to abit toasty 71c sweat.gif maybe cause im opening multiple tab [ambient=normal room aircond turn off]

user posted image
edit: lul finally know how to take multiple monitor screenshot doh.gif

i heard that thrs a temp offset for ryzen, maybe thats what limiting the cores going higher
maybe it can go a little more higher by doing some tweaking like precision boost overdrive, set higher temp offset, turn off some limiter, etc & let sensemi ai do its work

gonna give credit to amd sensemi, ive saw the video frm Level1Techs talking about it, its quite AMAZING ohmy.gif
