QUOTE(sonyfanzz @ Jul 2 2017, 12:11 PM) I still in dilemma choosing between ryzen and intel since 7700k an 1700 price almost the same now. I think if you're going to use your system for a long time, u can just go for Ryzen 7I only play game and 7700k is the best cpu for gaming now. Not sure how ryzen 7 will improve over time |

QUOTE(Morpheus2be @ Jul 5 2017, 06:14 PM) Anyone using the Biostar X370 GT5 ATX board? RM499 seems like a good deal. Reviews I've read so far looks ok. I'm still waiting for am4 itx board here lol..Thinking to pair it with G.Skill Flare X 3200Mhz DDR4 kit before RAM prices go up. Tired of waiting for AM4 ITX boards to arrive. I'll buy a cheap ATX and buy a new case if I have to. |

QUOTE(Morpheus2be @ Jul 28 2017, 04:44 PM) No, I didn't pre-order. Ya that price is steep for the biostar. Gigabyte seems like got vrm overheating issue. But so far I still haven't hear their arrival date and price in Malaysia.I saw the Biostar X370GTN finally appear on Lelong.com, but I was put off by the price (RM555) for a somewhat bare motherboard. Tehn Gigabyte and Asrock announced their ITX boards. I wanted to see which would arrive first, the Gigabyte (2nd choice) or Asrock ITX (1st choice) board. I wanted to grab whichever came first. I wish Asus would enter the fray but so far Asus has been quiet about their AM4 ITX board. |

QUOTE(Morpheus2be @ Jul 30 2017, 06:28 AM) Asrock Malaysia responded to my inquiry; they said the boards are stuck with Customs and will be at retail next week. Hope they will be available soon. I've got all my build parts ready, just need the ITX mobo and cannibalize a GTX970 from my Intel rig. Great! Ryzen here I come ! |

QUOTE(Morpheus2be @ Jul 30 2017, 10:34 AM) According to this review, the Gigabyte has better 4 phase VRM vs the Asrock's 6 phase (which is actually 3 phase) VRM. So which board are you going for? This is supposedly the best featured ITX for the price. Damn, I'm confused. |
