It is still only a minor speed bump.
Moral, no point waiting. Need it? Buy it!
If the battery is much improve this time around, it is still fine. By the time u need to replace the battery after 1000 cycles, you're going to use their best battery.. provided that their top case has nothing changed...

Any other user of MBP 13"? How's the battery life? Mine is like 3 hours with video editing using iMovies.
Another thing is tat, the during editing, the previews wasn't really smooth, like the processor being overloaded.

QUOTE(MooTikPin @ Jun 15 2017, 01:59 PM) just feel like the ram is not enough maybe , 8gb only 8gb actually should be sufficient for most usage. Of course if u are doing video editing etc. Then 16gb will be better of course.

Hi, is it the right time to purchase the macbook pro 13 inch? Last time, some bros here advised me to wait for the refresh of the macbook pro 13 inch. I think the refresh model was already available now. So, is it the good time to buy? Besides that, I am also in dilemma in choosing the storage. Not sure want to go for 256GB or 512GB. Any advise?

Get the 512GB if your pocket allows The right time to buy a laptop is the time when you need to use it. But if you ask me, I would say your friend suggestion is bad.... There's a price hike in Malaysia for the refreshed model with little to no gain in performance. But yeah, it's a good buy.

Any advise? 512 without hesitation. Your MBP will last year 5 years or more, so do consider what will the spec you need in 5 years time. I bought MBA 128gb was very proud at that time and i used it for 6 years. Not enough storage with current application size. So have to change to MBP
