Promotion Period : Begins from 19th January 2017 for a limited time offer (“Promotion”)

Purchase the latest Huawei 9 or Mate 9 Pro (“Mobile Phone”) at retail price that comes with 9 months webemobile® subscription at RM79 per month for 9 months (“Promo”)

Promo applies to new subscribers only. Not applicable to existing subscribers.

Promo is not applicable for the purchase of second Mobile Phone and any subsequent purchase.

Promo does not include charges incurred from roaming, international calls, tethering pass, etc.

Only requires to pay an upfront payment of (a) RM106 (inclusive of GST) and (b) any pro-rated monthly fee for the month during the date of subscription. Promo will only commence on the following month when there is a full cycle.

Payment of RM79 per month shall resume on the 10th month onwards.

Promotion is not applicable to employees of webe digital sdn bhd (Formerly known as Packet One Networks (M) Sdn Bhd), Telekom Malaysia Berhad and its respective affiliates and subsidiaries.

Who is eligible to subscribe to the #matefor9 promotion?
Malaysian or Non-Malaysian aged 18 years and above is eligible to subscribe to the service.

I’m an existing webe mobile plan subscriber. Do I get to enjoy the #matefor9 promotion?
Unfortunately, you do not get to enjoy the #matefor9 promotion if you are an existing webe mobile plan subscriber.

This promotion is only available to new subscribers who purchase a webe mobile plan with Huawei Mate 9 or Mate 9 Pro for the first time via port-in or new line purchase from 19 January 2017 onwards.

Is there an upfront payment to enjoy #matefor9 promotion? If there is, how much is it?
Yes, there is an upfront payment. New subscribers are required to pay the mobile device price + upfront fee of RM106.

Deposit collection of RM300 applies for non-Malaysians.

What is included in my first bill?
In your first bill, you will see
1. Pro-rated fee (from the day you joined till end of that particular month)
2. RM106 upfront payment used to offset the pro-rated fee and any value added services (tethering, roaming) used within that month.
3. webe mobile monthly fee for the entire month.
4. #matefor9 subscription fee that comes with for the entire month.

Is there a contract imposed when I purchase during the #matefor9 promotion?
No, there is no contract imposed for any purchase of devices from webe, including purchase during the #matefor9 promotion.

Will I be imposed with a termination fee or penalty if I were to terminate my webe mobile plan during the 9 months bundled deal promotion?
No, you will not be imposed with a termination fee if you choose to terminate your webe mobile plan during the first 9-month webemobile® subscription.

Am I allowed to transfer the #matefor9 promotion to my subline if I choose to terminate my first line?
No, the #matefor9 promotion is not transferrable to other lines in the account or to another webe mobile subscriber’s account.

I have terminated my webe mobile line purchased with the #matefor9 promotion. Can I continue the promotion if I were to purchase the line only again?
No, you will need to purchase the plan with a new Mate 9 or Mate 9 Pro device to be eligble for a new #matefor9 promotion, within the promotion period.

Is #matefor9 promotion extendable beyond 9 months of use?
No, the #matefor9 promotion is fixed for 9 continuous month on full bill cycle and there will be no roll over after 9 months.

What happens if my line is suspended during the 9 months bundled deal?
The first 9-month webemobile® subscription is fixed and non-extendable for suspension of any kind. You need to start paying full monthly commitment fee once the 9 months period has lapsed.

Am I allowed to enjoy the #matefor9 promotion on my sub-line(s)?
No, this promotion is only exclusive to new subscribers who purchase webe mobile plan and Huawei Mate 9 / Mate 9 Pro on their first line.

Is the Huawei Mate 9 / Mate 9 Pro a webe certified phone?
Yes, the Huawei Mate 9 / Mate 9 Pro is a webe certified phone. Hence, if you are within our LTE coverage, you get to enjoy better experience.
