Used webe for about a month plus now. I'm in Kuching.

4G coverage is spotty. It is slower than 3G most of the time. Using 4G, with speedtest the best i got was 4Mbps. With 3G i get 8Mbps. I'm not using a webe certified phone, not sure if that effects anything...i was using Digi before, with 4G i get 30Mbps...makes me think that my phone is not the issue hmmmm

Another issue, Not sure if its my phone, if the area has 4G coverage issues sometimes it doesn't switch to 3G instantly...sometimes need to go airplane mode just to "refresh" it

3G is fine. Dunno how long until they upgrade their infrastructure here

I'm using my line mainly town area, travillion area where my office is..2 1/2 mile...

Most of the time 4g is fine, but i do get issues like websites loading slow and whatsapp message arriving late or sending late. I dont know if the issue is caused by me not using webe certified phone...imo it shudnt matter cause my phone support band 5

To me im ok with it cause i get good balance of data, calls and sms for 79, cant complain much..i hope it improves faster in kuching

I read somewhere band 38/40 will be deployed in Q1 of 2017 in major cities...i dont remember where i read this

Even if kuching got band 40 how do we find out? I'm assuming still band 5 cause the 4G speed is quite sedih

I agree. I'm sure they have the infrastructure to provide at least a stable service but they keep going back to their p1 tactics.

Something i noticed with webe 4g. It is currently raining here in my area. And it switches to 3g. Never had this problem before when i was using digi.

Believe me its not ur phone...back when i use digi i have almost no problem, downtime very seldom.

If you go icom square, webe 4G can reach 20mbps. Unfortunately i live at 3rd mile, on peak hours it gets bad til 2mbps. The only time i get 6mbps at 3rd mile is during cny 1st 2nd day. After that its 4mbps or slower.

Same here in kuching..some area congested, some area not. Not sure if they are planning to improve their network

Anyone having problems receiving whatsapp notification since switching to webe? Ever since i use webe i noticed if i run the app only the notification arrive, especially if the phone is idle at night for example

If you try and your frequented area is slow better just move on to other options. Rm79 if a lot of headache also u are paying for headache
