I think you could loan up till RM100k for Russian med student. Don't know for sure though.

Expect to live in an uncomfortable hostel (not that bad) and frinkin cold environment.

Added on May 18, 2009, 5:31 pmthat is correct.........it is called the 'competent authority' pathway.....applies to GMC, Canadian MC and NZMC......they recognised that these medical councils can competently register doctors, and hence exempted from the amc exams......you get a provisional registration, but once you start work, they will assess you for competency before full registration is given.......this is a temporary measure, and once there are enough doctors in oz, they will remove this loophole........

Yep but don't worry. I think PTPTN will do something. Bank loan wll be quite tough to get nowadays with the interest much higher than before.

not exactly inherit. totally wrong word used in this circumstances. but you know if you do get married to a citizen of another country, automatic citizenship is given to you. so yeah , by hook or by crook you still get to post grad in uk.

hello which agent are u under? do not tell me russian resources? any agent suck your money dry by putting sweet words to convince parents. they never come good. and they know nothing about russia but they think they know.
prepare to suffer a little too by living in Moscow. first the hostels are very very far away from your class and lecture. have to wake up very early.
and the hostel admin are very .... unscrupulous, irresponsible and their managing effectiveness is even worst than our government sectors. You might get no hostel to live every year you go back if there are a lot of students already arrived before you before the semester starts. Safety, cost of living is no guarantee..but there should be no problem

it's called marriage of convenience, and occurs more commonly than you think...........

citizenship is not automatically given, you will still have to apply, and due process of naturalisaion will still take place.......may take a few years........then you can divorce.......

and who's gonna be the guarantor in the event that you 'run away'? =)

There is some student here live in Russia. Of course it kinda suck at first. But one user called hocklee said you get used to it somehow. Some lecturer are good while some are not. but the key is patience.

Relax dude. it does not seem they will cheat you but do look at the interest rate and other agreement. There a many many Malaysian there so don't worry much. Btw, when will you go to Russia?

But I never heard a racism in Russia before although I do heard there is a case in UK where he got bully too much until he quit Medicine in the final year.

You got follow my elder brother footstep to make friend with locals and adapt quickly. He sometime even get invite to clubbing etc. because of his friendliness. never stick too much with only Malaysian as people will get bad impression of you.
