wao, if $ is not a prob, den u realli haf the potential 2 do dat.
i think the best way is go IMU, study hard, and twin to Jefferson o any Canadian Uni. Then move 2 US n get into their residency (specialist). US is realli the country wif least discrimination against foriegners (if not S'pore).

Added on December 7, 2007, 6:43 pmrealli, it's the best way (if u haf the $),even if compared 2 Oxbridge/Melbourne, cos both UK n Aus r havin a system 2 protect their own people.
*
that means singapore and USA is my best option?
hmmm indeed singapore loves potential chinese...and no discrimination

ocpe and osce is just one of the exam in med school....wait till u join the journey of no return , then only u'll know..... hee....

from my point of u.....(being a med student for 4+ years in local uni), u can go for IMU if ur parents r rich...*_*. i would not reco u to go russia for med degree..... u would have a hard time searching for postgrad course later.....and a hard time for u to struggle in medical life as lots of doctors or specialists actually look down on russian grads... and u would end up being tortured by them all the way( that's what i usually see in my hospital).  anyway, good luck!!!
*
so that means even if u study 5 year IMU locally [MBBS] u will still be like higher ranking and more regarded than russian grads?

can anyone here help me???!!! pls i need all the experienced medic students to guide me! i planned to go to IMU, cos it's damn good n damn near to my place, BUT i know it's difficult cos it requires a very high entry requirements + interview...

my question is, which type of pre-u is good for medic? i'd love to take A-levels but it's a farking 1 1/2 years.. so damn long time! so i'm confused between ausmat or A-levels or even canadian pre-u!

okay, so about the pre-u thingy, i know i need to take the sciences subjects... as usual they'll offer chem + bio + phy in the subjects for pre-u, my question is, can i take only chem + bio? and replace phy with some other subjects like psychology? will it affect my entry to IMU? i'm okay with physics except the farking dull n boring electronics!!! those signs and functions will make me puke..
*
same here...this SPM trial i have worst marks for physics..63 and got a b3..my worst subject shakehead.gif

i repeat what is have said many times.........

there are 6000+ students with straight a's.......dunno how many more with a b or two..........usually in non-core subjects like moral and est......

if you do NOT have say, at least 8a's in the core subjects, please do NOT consider medicine.......
*
fully agreed. seriously if you do not have solid foundation of core subjects, you are either going to club, party, or sitting there and copy answers during medical exams or repeat years, retake exams which is what i had seen. no hard feelings. the current crops of med students are not as competent ...

Total tuition fees+hostel+living expenses+flight fare for 6 years+....! Its about RM300k++! Then the agent agree to loan if the money not enough!
*
hello which agent are u under? do not tell me russian resources? any agent suck your money dry by putting sweet words to convince parents. they never come good. and they know nothing about russia but they think they know.
prepare to suffer a little too by living in Moscow. first the hostels are very very far away from your class and lecture. have to wake up very early.
and the hostel admin are very .... unscrupulous, irresponsible and their managing effectiveness is even worst than our government sectors. You might get no hostel to live every year you go back if there are a lot of students already arrived before you before the semester starts. Safety, cost of living is no guarantee..but there should be no problem wink.gif

I dont know weather I'm a "slowpoke" or not but this fake and misleading "Professor Dato' Dr Raden" has to be exposed fast.

His background information

user posted image
The following videos are made by one who claims to be able to "miraculous surgery by divine intervention from God":

His method of "diagnosing" disease:

- if that is the diagnosis method he learned in the Indonesian university.... god help our medical students there..

His "surgeries":

- things to ponder while watching these videos: anatomy, anesthesia, aseptic technique, respiratory support, sterile condition, surgical equipments, etc~

His "surgeries" vol.2:

- No pain and not even a scar????
- How did he managed to take out a heart without even opening the thorax?? and how the hell did he maintain the blood circulation in the patient with the heart outside of her body?
- Notice how SMALL the heart is ??

This guy hides behind religion and claims to be able to perform miracles..
I Quote from one of his fanatic supporter's blog:

"I received a comment from a Doctor Ahmad Farouk Musa, from the School of Health and Medical Sciences, Monash University lambasting me as one who has a Stone Age mentality for believing in modern day miracles and libeling me as wanting to drag you my readers back to the so called Dark Ages by sharing with you here about these amazing miracle healings being carried out by unconventional Islamic Spiritual Healings of Professor Dato Dr.Raden Johari Mansur of the Pusat Rawatan Keraton, based at Sentul Raya Boulevard, Kuala Lumpur!" - Mahaguru58

"He (the "Prof") says that the charges for operations at the Pusat Rawatan Keraton is RM3000+ for above navel areas of the body and RM2000+ for areas below it."

what type of nonsense is this? i saw all those surgeries, the techniques applied are wrong and not according to medical practices.. and the surgery lasts for less than 20 minutes "3 minutes to open n heal, 10 minutes to "sew using somesort of telekinesis" and "awaken" the patient" no scars after surgery and kudos to Allah the Almighty O_O He thinks he is some sort of new prophet? he and his religion..sleep.gif makes me hate the :extremists" more
