Hi sofaking, why do you want to do your "sub specialisation" in US for another 6 yrs when you can complete it in 3 yrs times in spore? u have relatives in US or u r into very competitive fields like cardiology. and to the rest of the forumners, it's best not to jump around different countries as they have different regulations, and sometimes you have to start just like a fresh graduate in a place that doesn't recognise your qualifications and working experience at the place you previously worked at. Hmm, A Malaysian who qualified for Unimas in 2007, and who holds his/her medical school (NUS) in high esteem, to the point of being condescending of others. Also highly idealistic. You should be M3 by now. Let's see if you can trace me before I can trace you..... Oh, and enjoy your residency and bond

Oh, and enjoy your residency and bond  I was waiting for your reply for why u choose US over SG for which you need additional 3 years to get your specialty training. I'm not familiar with the US residency but it does not seem like you are guaranteed a cardio/gastro training. I'd appreciate if you could share your experience of which why did u choose to leave SG for US. Oh yea, please reply it in "calling medical students version 2". Thank you. And btw you seem to be have your "UM complex" as well by stating "people who graduated from other university lesser than UM". This post has been edited by tqeh: Oct 12 2010, 10:02 PM
