SCB Cashback and JustOne cards for 1.5k and 2.5k spending. If using these 2 still not sufficient, can combine with Alliance You:nique with 3k spending for RM50.

Hmm but the SCB cap for CB a bit confusing hmm

HLB Fortune - 1% Cash Back but need minimum spending RM2k to qualify CB this is a Good card if you could spend at least RM2000 but capped at RM5K (RM50 cash back), that one needs to spend at least RM 2k per month and it will not be accumulated. If cannot achieve then CB burn. sweat.gif

hi, i'm thinking of having a credit card for easy of payment on a couple of occasions/needs. it's also for my ccris/ctos good record.

1. Annual Income: RM26.1K

2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: A Must have.

3. Card required for: petrol, monthly grocery shopping, occasional online purchase (lazada/shopee/etc)/eat out/hotel/flight bookings.

4. Existing credit cards (if any): Nil.

5. Interested in CC from: Nil.

6. Others: Don't want troublesome card. Want hassle free one. I would spent based on the money i have.

Yeah... JustOne card have specific categories and tier spending for higher cashbacks.
SCB Cashback card is much simpler though, at least for me. To maximize cashback for large amounts, you might need combination of multiple cards.

for big amount expenditure, HLB Fortune will be the champ, since there will be an annual bonus up to RM1,800 in addition to the 1% you get monthly.

UOB YOLO also OK but you need to spend minimum 8x with RM 10 and above every month. Cash back is not guaranteed as it is FCFS but I guess if you spend on first few days of the month should be OK.
The rest of the cards require higher salary requirement.

Most credit card requires 30k per annum, such as the Maybank 2 card is quite good.
But this CIMB cash back is not bad also, there are still some other 24k per annum card but I think this is the best I know.

Agreed. I recently request for this card for big ticket items as well.

Since it's retail expenses, easy to hit target and get CB + yearly bonus.

Usually when they approved your housing loan they’ll give you a credit card as well.

1. Annual Income: RM80K-RM100K

2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: Waivable

3. Card required for: Insurance Premium, Daily Usage (Petrol, Groceries, Dining, Movie), Online Shopping, Overseas Usage

4. Existing credit cards (if any): OCBC GE, PBB2 Quantum, SCB (CB Gold and JustOne Plat), HSBC Amanah, Aeon (Gold and Big Gold), CIMB CR, AmBank Visa Plat, Maybank Ikhwan Plat Mastercard,

5. Interested in CC from: No particular preference

6. Others: I am looking for ways to consolidate my credit card while maximizing the cards benefits (either CB or points). My card lists have gotten a little out of hand and i find it difficult to manage so many cards. But i'm facing dilemma on which to cancel and which to keep in order to maximize the benefits...
