I have a question on Younique Rebates.
If I spend RM3000, how much rebate?

3000 x 3% = 90
OR
(1000 x 0.5%) + (1000 x 1.5%) + (1000 x 3%) = 30

which one? no cap on rebate?
*
QUOTE(BeastX @ Jul 18 2016, 10:44 AM)
Correction:

(1000 x 0.5%) + (1000 x 1.5%) + (1000 x 3%) = 5 + 15 + 30 = RM50

No cap ... but after RM3k it's only 0.3%
*
QUOTE(torres09 @ Dec 30 2016, 09:43 PM)
thanks bro. the you:nique card seems good, just to confirm for example i spend 3500 a month, does it mean i get 3% cashback on 3000, and 0.3% on subsequent 500? or is it only 0.3% of 3500?

the stanchart card seem to mention retail spend, not sure of it applies to gov related payments..

Yes, Maybe Citibank Card Privileges (Offer or Promo) + Evergreen Rewards Point No Expired which are their Perks an Undeniable Temptation to some of us here, but however most of the Citibank CC do come with an Annual Fee. Ya, You may Request Annual Fee Waiver from Citibank Every Year but Sometimes also Subject to their Approval, they give or not... whistling.gif

Meanwhile, Maybank 2Cards will Benefiting U with 2 cards, Maybankard 2 American Express® Card & Maybankard 2 Visa / MasterCard, in 1 Sign up, and 1 Statement plus, the MBB 2 Cards also is Lifetime Fee Waiver with NO T&C's Applied on thumbsup.gif

You can Accumulate/Earn More Rewards Point even Faster: 1x/ 2x / 5X Treats point + 5% Cash-Back from Weekends Spend with Maybank 2Cards (Amex) for Every RM1 Spent. Do Use the Treats Point on Shopping Voucher Redemption Even Use it for MAS Enrich Air Miles Redemption. (5X Tp = 1.25% CB) thumbup.gif
Although the their Treats Point do come with 3 Years Expiration Period but it may even Better than Citibank CC just Plain RM1 /1 Rewards Point. Somemore, FYI... NO Point will be Rewarded on Petrol Purchase with Most of the Citi's Credit Card https://www.citibank.com.my/ICARD/subapp/re...rewards-tnc.pdf

Anyone know the term and conditions on applying supplementary credit card? Some background information, both my wife and myself kena rejected from credit card application in the past few months, which due mainly to no sufficient supporting document provided (I believe so). Those rejected application is applied in the shopping center – with free power bank.

I believe that if we provide sufficient supporting we should able to get credit card easily. Now, I plan to apply a supplementary credit card to my wife, just wonder whether we need to provide those document or not..
*
No Income Documents Required, Jz your supp. Card Applicant (a copy of your Wife IC ) needed only on this.

So among these 3, if there is a monthly expenditure of , let's say, RM 2000 which isn't inclusive of petrol or insurance payments , SCB cash back would be the best among these 3?
*
i) SCB Cash Back Gold - The way to maximize the Cash-back % is by spending exactly (RM) 500, 833 or 1500 (Not Petrol & Insurance) & You will get either 2%, 3% or 3.33% effective cash back. thumbup.gif
https://www.sc.com/my/assets/pws/pdf/CashBa...Product-TnC.pdf

ii) Alliance You:nique - RM3000 (Spend) = RM (1000 x 0.5%) + (1000 x 1.5%) + (1000 x 3%) = 5 + 15 + 30 = Max. RM50 CB, & after RM3k it's Only 0.3% (No Cap).

Monthly Spend (RM) Rebate (%)
0 - 1,000 0.50
1,001 - 2,0001.50
2,001 - 3,0003.00
> 3,0000.30

iii) HLB Essential
• 0.6% Unlimited cash back on insurance transactions Or Other retail transactions, NO CB on Petrol transaction
• 0.6% cash back on RM5,000 spend (tier 1)
• 1% Unlimited cash back on subsequent spend (tier 2)

Hi fly126,

Tnc states:
2% CashBack on your cashback transactions when you spend a minimum of RM500 but less
than RM800 per month in retail purchases (local and international) on your CashBack Gold
MasterCard as shown in your credit card statement, subject to a cap of RM10 per month.

Does that mean utility bill payments are not included in minimum spending of RM500?
*
Any Retail Spend will included & Bill payment also entitled for CB. As long as it's NOT a Petrol or Insurance Transaction.
