anyone who used Bank Islam card can assist to confirm the following:

For Visa Infinite card, in order to get RM30 cashback for online, auto billing, grocery and dining, which of the following scenario is valid:

1) Need to spend RM1000 with at least RM600 in those categories to get RM30
2) Need to spend RM1600 with at least RM600 in those categories to get RM30

I am unsure of whether the calculation of cashback is ONLY based on any spending after hitting the RM1000 or not.

Thank you.

Just RM1000 with at least RM600 in those categories, since the max you can get is only RM30

Yes, if you don't need the lounge access
FYI, you need to spend more than RM500 to enjoy the CB

Just sharing from my application, i told the staff that i have submitted supporting docs online. She managed to retrieve it so I only need to submit the manual form.

if you go direct to the bank branches to apply, should be less hassle and fast. Most of us go through online which is troublesome. Bank Islam wise, I not sure I am new to that bank islam cc as well. I yet to receive my first statement

I already got the bank islam cc. A bit troublesome as well because they asked for more documents compared to other banks. But after providing all documents then they are quick, I got my cc around 1.5 weeks later.

I also got my first statement already.

Hey guys, I have CIMB Preferred Visa Infinite and the PBB Visa Signature (came with my home mortgage). Unfortunately these two credit cards don't support Apple Pay.

I'm planning to cancel my CIMB one and get another card from Maybank/SC/HSBC that is ideally:

- No annual fee (if need to spend a bit to qualify, that's fine)
- Must support Apple Pay
- Ideally simple value-based cashback (spend RM XXX get RM30 or whatever cashback)

Anyone has any recommendations? My income shouldn't be issue for whichever tier CC that can be applied publicly.

Thanks!
