1. Annual Income: 36 - 39 k

2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: Yes pls

3. Card required for:  Online transaction thru local and international sites. Must work with paypal for international. WOuld appreciate cashback on utility bill as well like tm and outside dining.

4. Existing credit cards (if any): None. Debit only

5. Interested in CC from: any

6. Others: I'm a big online spender, like literally almost everything are cheaper by buying online than outside. So i'm looking for the best cashback cc for online transaction for greater saving.

Question : I'm not familiar with cc, i just want to know if i need to pay a fee monthly even when i dont use the cc at all or it is based on my spending where i only need to pay the exact amount of my total spending in that month with the cc at the end of month?
*
Public Bank Quantum Visa and Quantum MasterCard Credit Cards. Need apply for both cards.
Quantum MasterCard: 5% cashback for Online and Dining

You only need to pay what ever you spend based on the credit card statement. Usually there is a 20 days period from the statement date before it is due. You need to pay the statement amount before the due date.

1. Annual Income: RM50k

2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: A Must

3. Card required for: List all your needs. Petrol

4. Existing credit cards (if any): I am currently using, MBB2C, UOB One Card and Lady's Card and a normal HSBC Platinum.

5. Interested in CC from: 1. I am thinking wanted to terminate both UOB cards, find it not much CB and benefits. 2. Thinking want to convert to M2C to Maybank Ikhwan Card or not.

Hopefully i can get some useful tips here, thank you smile.gif
*
M2C quite useful with the 5% weekend cashback. Some petrol stations accept Amex.
No need to convert, try applying Ikhwan first.

Good day, sifu. Need recommendation;

1. Annual Income: RM168k

2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: Must. if annual fee alamak rugi la.

3. Card required for: Petrol, groceries, bill, all transaction. I would prefer credit card than cash all of the time so that can get rebate / point

4. Existing credit cards (if any): Maybank 2 cards (AMEX & VISA), CIMB 3 cards - Cash Rebate, Petronas, Platinum.

5. Interested in CC from: Any.

I normally pay on daily basis for what i've spent to avoid any charges.

Thank you, all sifus
*
For bills, you can pay online using PBB Visa Signature (12 swipes per year to waive) and PBB Quantum cards.

Pay on daily basis? You mean pay after each day's transaction?

Hi everyone, look forward to all your suggestions.

1. Annual Income:
-RM36K

2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee:
-Yes (If waived the fees after minimum certain swipes in one year, this one also acceptable)

3. Card required for:
-Dining/Online/Groceries

4. Existing credit cards (if any):
-PBB Quantum Visa/MasterCard

5. Interested in CC from:
-Any Bank.

6. Others: Please be specific. Example:
-I am looking for another CC for dining/online/groceries categories, since my Quantum MasterCard already capped maximum RM30 every month for dining & online categories. So, requires another CC for cash rebate.
*
UOB YOLO for online, dining and travel. Perhaps groceries can purchase online.
The AF waived with minimum 1 transaction per month.

MBB 2cards Amex accepted in most stations. However, the cashback is only on weekends.

You can try Citibank cashback. First year AF is usually waived. I've manage to get waiver for year 2 despite mainly using it for petrol.

2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: At least waivable.

3. Card required for: Overseas Transactions, big purchases

4. Existing credit cards (if any): MBB2, MBB FCB, PBB Q MC/VS, HLB Essential

5. Interested in CC from: SCB, HSBC

6. Others: Basically which card is good for oversea transaction? + another card for big purchases? cause MBB Amex only good for 1k spending, FCB good for 2.5k. CB would be great but if good amount of points is ok also
*
SCB Cashback and JustOne cards for 1.5k and 2.5k spending. If using these 2 still not sufficient, can combine with Alliance You:nique with 3k spending for RM50.

Hmm but the SCB cap for CB a bit confusing hmm
Hmmm this is good for all transaction without cap hmm is there other nice no cap or high spending CB card? Or cards that good for big purchase in general.

OCBC titanium look interesting but online purchase only.
*
Yeah... JustOne card have specific categories and tier spending for higher cashbacks.
SCB Cashback card is much simpler though, at least for me. To maximize cashback for large amounts, you might need combination of multiple cards.

Haha. I applied online thru maybank2u. Uploaded my ic and latest payslip showing 4.1k salary include ot & allowance.

40 minutes later received email my application is unsuccessful / rejected. Pity me.

Then i checked my ctos report. Got 580 for ctos score. Got a car loan and ptptn loan. Always paid on time. All 0. But maybe i just worked for 9 months la. This is my 1st job.

Feel frustrated my application was rejected after 40minutes of application. Malu weh. So sad

Any other bank / credit card that is so easy to apply like maybank2u? Just fill in the application online, submit document, 40minutes later received the status.

I dont really like to receive call from agent or go to the counter / booth  or apply manually. I want to apply online for the ease at my finger.

Suggest you appeal your application. Email them.

*
Yes, 5% for Amex only. The other one, not very useful. You probably need other cards to complement the Amex.

The MBB Amex 5% cashback is applicable on weekends only. You would need other cash back cards to complement, for weekdays and merchants that do not accept Amex.

MBB FCB would be fuss free.
