If u see the below T&C, I just don't know what to say.  doh.gif See the "monthly returns".

http://www.cimbpreferred.com.my/en/lifesty...osit-offer.html
Ya, the 0.3% can be a lot for big sums !! However it is for corporate account only. Only company directors (like u  tongue.gif ) can place the FD.  biggrin.gif
If u have MBB acount, u can do virtually MANY MANY times. I have done about 14 times in the same day from MBB account recently and another forummer has done like 17 times last year ?  biggrin.gif

MBB cannot create eFixed Deposit, online site keep showing you have no joint account even you had selected the individual option.

OCBC new Premier Banking promo has been quite similar for past 2 years or so. The 5% 3 mth FD have to buy investment products. I did not take it up when I signed up for their PB. biggrin.gif

seems like CIMB don't have the option to credit to principle to SA/CA upon maturity, must walk in to uplift, that is so 80's. mad.gif ranting.gif doh.gif

QUOTE
With reference to your report 1- 39429xxxxx, based on confirmation and bank’s policy and procedures, we regret to inform that there are no options for auto upliftment upon maturity as all Fixed Deposits are auto renewed, including Fixed Deposits placed in CIMB Clicks.

Please be informed in CIMB Clicks there are only options to have either the interest credited to Principal amount or to have the interest credited to account directly. There are no options for auto upliftment upon maturity. Customers will have to uplift the Fixed Deposit manually.

It is for their Preferred customer. Monthly interest is for Islamic FD. It is discussed above. Please read the posts above. biggrin.gif

What does fresh fund mean usually?

If I were to remove let's say RM10k from PBB, how long do I have to wait only can put it back in and be considered as fresh fund?

Every bank have their own version of fresh fund. Some same day also can but need to top up some funds. So depends.

Hi, I did an FD upliftment in Maybank today due to maturation of FD. However, I was required to re-affirm with the teller my employer or whether I'm self employed as well as my position.

Is that normal procedure?

Maybe it's just for security purposes... but if they're asking something that you've not earlier disclosed to them, maybe they want to update info and etc.
But if they ask what you wanna do with the funds that you've uplifted or taken out, they have no rights to ask to a certain extend. I coulld just say i wanna bring it up to genting and double it.

Never been asked before. Re-affirm means just inform the teller verbally?
