Really cannot, so if ur unifi comes with free calls, u must use the new unifi no to call. But u can opt to keep ur existing copper telephone line no by paying rm1 per mth to maintain the number but calls are charged on per use basis.

cannot because landline do not have "MNP" like mobile. they have to stick to "range". different services/area got different "range". "range" is the number between area code and last four digit.

I spoke with TM officer on this matter (maintain/convert existing landline to Unifi telephone line) and she said it's not possible, further confirmed by officers at Everyone Connect''s FB and TM Live Chat.

Once apply Unifi you'll be given a new telephone number and you can opt to maintain existing telephone line for a monthly charge of RM1 per month, therefore 1 new line (Unifi) + 1 existing line.

but best no matter how it is to apply via online. Safest plus one mth subscription. It is super time consuming process for online application, one week time before they call to confirm the application after submitted application online. Probably another one week minimum for installer to arrange an appointment. But TM online had done a good job to terminate the streamyx (for users who upgrade) immediately after the unifi is activated. Rather hassle free. And online application does not need the rm100 thingy.

Hi. Im planning to get Unifi by this month due to the ongoing promo and double speed offer next year. Planning to get 30Mb package. I have a doubt here, currently Streamyx is under my sister's name. You said applying online is the best way, so if I apply online my current streamyx will be terminated right ?I want to apply Unifi under my name not my sis name.

off course can... if not high rise la with copper line.... but if on same family, why need another internet line? except if want as a backup...

if u apply online, the streamyx will not be terminated automatically after ur unifi is activated as the two services are under different names.

just ask ur sister to terminate the streamyx immediately after the unifi is activated.

Well, in order to ensure Internet is ever ready, install UniFi first before terminating Streamyx. Else, there may be situation where UniFi is yet to be installed but Streamyx already terminated. That's the reason I asked, moreover different account name, no need to terminate and apply. Can do one after one. How much can pro-ration cost? laugh.gif

Have you try to connect to the guess wifi with other device? Make sure you configure your wifi setting properly, key in the right password for your guess wifi.

FTTH no need, VDSL need

FTTH for landed, usually high rise condo, apartment use VDSL...

After since I terminated account, I no longer able to see any information in my OCC or MyTM.

Is there anyway for me to check my latest bill without going thru Live Chat / Customer Service?

i terminated my streamyx and upgraded to unifi on 10 december. i paid my streamyx bill on the 6 dec thinking that any extra payment will be brought over to my unifi account.

today i received my first unifi bill, didnt see any balance carry fwd. so i live chat TM and they told me cannot carry forward balance from streamyx to unifi. they will refund me the money with a cheque sent to my streamyx service address. problem is that i already moved out from the house with streamyx.

i requested whether they can send the cheque to my new address, they said no. dunno what to do now unsure.gif

anybody here got experience in getting refund in cheques, how long does it take? maybe i can tell them i didnt not receive the cheque after N months. get them to send me a new one.

should not have paid the bill in the beginning of the month bangwall.gif

Yes same to me. CS asked go to any TM point to pay RM100 advance 14 days after installation in Nov 2016 (I applied UNifi thru their TM online application). However I didn't do it. Lol my account now still valid.
