ur rm179 30Mbps now does it come with rm20 call plan the 600 minutes thing? Or it it technically the exact same package as the current rm179 30Mbps. Just curious if there is any difference in package now and 2 years for the same price.

My archer c5 kinda weird, set 2.4ghz channel to auto, it always select channel 1 even there are few other ssid at channel 1 (scan using android hp, just a 1-2 meters away from router)

Yup 20mhz bandwidth, these days too crowded to set 40mhz

whats the different for 20mhz or 40mhz?

My router is 2.4ghz, single band only.

But I put the setting to auto 20/40mhz...

Does it make any different in stability?

I got my unifi upgraded to 30MB but never able to achieve 30mbps and most 20.86mbps typical only around 15mbps.. is there any other things which I need to do to achieve the 30mbps speed?? did reset the router and fibre optics many times but seen the same..

might need to call TM to check this and the STB also seen like koyak after not turning it on for years..

Could it be that you are on Unifi Advance 30mbps + Jumbo Pack? RM229 + GST?

Your 20Mbps is wired or wireless connection? If it's wireless then try wired connection and see if you can get 30Mbps +- 5%?

I remember last time the TnC say after 2017 there are one link for us to check whether we can upgrade 30 to 50 or 50 to 100, anyone still got that link?

If you put it as 20mhz, it has higher tendency to select channel 1. I can only guess that this is based on router's firmware algorithm. Since have manually scanned, use manual channel selection then instead of auto.

afaik, you cant but go to any tmpoint / tmnet branch to verify it.

unifi kelentong exisitng user 30mb still did not receive 50mb upgrade.
