ANyways, so far it should remain the same, no cap. Unless they decide to change something...next year, that I dont think so.

BTW...many of you are asking about the pricing, halved, its not the case, its the cost per Mb had gone lower. Hence they maintain almost the same price, but increased the bandwidth.

I guess it depends on whats available at the moment. Both model are the current trend.... (C5 and dlink 850L)

TM would not bother about wifi connection, its held as user responsibilities, since there are many variables and very subjective. As long as you can get more than 24Mbps on LAN, they will close the case.

Whats the router you are using? Have you checked if there is any interference on your wifi channels?

I would suggest to download "wifi analyzer" on your cellphone and try checking from there on the best channel available.

Agree, and DLink 850L, I received was one of the best I had used from TM. No complains. It even reaches far back into my balcony as well, even my wifi printer that sits at the furthest room, works!

I'm using my dlink 850L to do so....still in the mist of setting up. Done some initial test seem to be fine. Will be setting up 11TB external storage attached to it.

Obviously the possibility is there. The only way to confirm is to use the router and check again it you encounter similar issue again, if so, then its the router. AC1200 is a better router in many ways

I was in the impression that was before the promotion extension. Now with the extended promotion till Feb, then the upgrade only happens at later stage.
