To be fair, they need to uniformly upgrade the merchant terminals for all their business outlets.

Actually I saw two variants of MBB terminals in the market.
The first type is seen at McD. I believe this variant is the most common and widely used.
Another variant looks similar to PBB/HLB version (compact type).

For knowledge base and sharing, we should gather more data to justify for the situation.
Like the outage 2 weeks ago, was it isolated to Visa or MC? Was it isolated to MBB terminal? Bla Bla

Already blocked that person so if you didnt quote i cant see.

What location and terminal will help reduce rejection or addtiional hassle paying through spay.

Since i follow my list i seldom have fail transaction to make my point collecting as efficient as possible. Once awhile i will try a new location if i have extra time.

If everyone add to the list, we have a high success rate of using spay.

they are starting to use those portable terminals nowadays, especially at restaurants when they bring the bill together with the terminal. so far i have seen PBB and MBB using this. 100% success rate for me when using this kind of terminal.

Signal will depend on the mobile carriers data availability in that area and also the buildings structure. Otherwise, most of the times, it usually works as intended.

She worked in a steakhouse in Solaris, somehow the carrier signal is bad there... rclxub.gif
The meal there is quite expensive, hence sometimes kena lecture by customers when the payment terminal die-die no signal...

There was this one time, I had to walk outside with the staff to find better signal reception for the merchant terminal. Once the signal is decent enough, the payment went through without any problems.

I found the whole scenario a little hilarious even though I was inconvenienced as the customer.

Almost all of those type of merchant terminals are running on mobile data.

You can see their designated carrier names on the screen and their signal strength.
