your case is abit different, only GS3, i assume if there is reward point, you wouldn't know whats the point are since you dont have phone that support SPay to see the point

i think maybe you need to have a phone that support Spay, start the Spay on the phone to initiate a Spay account container to store the point, else the point goes no where, probably thats what they mean by no point available in the FAQ you mention just now? just simply guessing.

Mine is, i already have the phone, got the Gear 3 later, have been using Gear 3 almost a month without opening the Spay on the phone, later i open the Spay on the phone, i click on reward point, refreshed ~the point jump by few hundreds, thats how i come to conclusion it does have reward point.

how did you guys know it's only one unit of the s3 can be redeemed? I can understand the sudden emptiness, really kena taken for a ride this time. And I just bought a wireless charger and a sport Bluetooth earphone online like a week ago. Should have redeem the lazada voucher first if I had know its only one unit of s3 can be redeemed. Samsung pay, you sucks 🤣😂

I think alot people pissed off because they missed the boat, especially those that spend unnecessary to achieve the target.

Furthermore, it is almost impossible to achieve the target via normal spending, hence I would think Samsung would just allocate not much Gear S3 for redemption

Spay is capable be used at almost every CC terminal, is only alot merchant don't have credit card terminal.

unless most hawker have it, your 3 meal a day can use credit card/Spay, chances of hitting 50 is almost nil under normal spending routine.

i'm one of the genuine people and i can hit my target every month - always managed to get 50 transactions, just have to be at the right place to do it and its a lot of effort. sure there are some people out there that have credit card machine that can do it very easily with minimal effort, but we're able to do it the legit way too

Since SamsungPay point collection is based on number of  transaction and not amount, you got to be creative.

Example:
1. while my wife doing the grocery, I will pay 1 by 1, just a lot of walking and 5 mins waiting time.
2. You can pump rm3 petrol in the morning and another rm3 in the evening
3. Or camping at places like MyNews, Caring, Watson, Guardian
4. Since MasterCard have the rm15 rebate promo, I pay 1 item by 1 item (rm15 or above)

It depends on your strategy how u wanna collect the points. Like this month I have exceed 50 transaction (Should be around 80 already)

The acceptance is not as wide as McD.
McD accepts card without question asked nor min amount required.
They're happily and smiling to accept card.
Even an auntie or a senior citizen manning the cash register is trained to accept cards.
This kind of attitude we need for cashless or electronic payment society.

The only McD I went so far that doesn't equip with CC terminal is at Bandar Baru Kampar near to UTAR/KTAR Kampar.
