questions:
1) anyone has any idea about this statement in the tnc of maybank samsung pay contest to win a note 8?
"1 Qualifying Entry for every RM50
cumulative Qualified Spend via
Samsung Pay"

Does it means, every RM50 accumulated entitled one entry and I dont need to swipe RM50 for each transaction right ?

2) is there a way for us to change the CTA daily limit for maybank card ? told by CS it cannot be changed at this moment.

Yes, two times at petronas yesterday. I saw the terminal shown error 91. But it shows success in my Samsung pay. Can only check from m2u after 2 days.

I did two times as well.. one at family mart one at mcd.. so did you get the refund from petronas or maybank?
*
My swipes happened on Friday night. To be safe, I will only check my credit card transactions tomorrow. I believe the transactions will not be posted. I did showed my Samsung pay's success tx to the staff, and asked them to check again. Then he try to print out the receipt by asking me to tap my card again into the terminal. The terminal shown "no tx". In this case, I believed the tx really failed la...

I suspect that Citibank has the highest rate of "Do Not Honor" for both NFC and MST, it's like it will allow you to perform the transaction today and will fail tomorrow at the same shop.

What makes you have this thought?

Just to share, most of the petronas attempts failed me today. I think only 1 out of 10 attempts get success cross 3 days.

I went to caltex instead, they supported pay wave, hence first attempt using spay gone through with no issue.

Will check out at petron next time.

Not working at shell stations.

Yes all paid at counter.
Fyi, the pump terminal at caltex supported paywave! Actually there is a label of paywave and a label of phone is prohibited side by side at the pump terminal. Ha. Not sure if we are suppose to wave there lo...

Just to share, Citibank and maybank card are both OK for repeatable usage, one after another at the same shop and on same day.

i managed to try it at petronas cyberjaya, worked fine but their process (which is same every other petronas) is very stupid - you need to tag on the reader, pump petrol..then return to get the receipt...you wont get double charged, but the process is just stupid.
*
same process at some of the petronas station too. so meaning no issue to use spay these few days la? will go try tonight.

How to use mst? Just tag like normal except at the swiping part?

This rhb debit card really spoilt the mode for me. Only can use paywave for 10 times then must use pin to reset the counter.

Is this something implemented long ago? I really only wish to use exclusively with Samsung Pay since its also an ATM card for security reason.

Today swipe twice at mcd also denied... do not honor.
*
For mst, just put your phone near to the side of the terminal, which there is a slot for swiping your card.

MBB credit card has a daily limit of RM250. the daily limit can be reset by insert card + pin.
CITIBANK credit card has a daily limit of RM750, and RM250 for each tx. cannot be reset.

I do not have such problem. SO far i have tried 11 transaction (Citibank Credit) on same day and within 1 hour.
Transaction above 250 on pay wave is no issue too, just need to key in PIN.

Maybe it's just applicable to debit card.
*
Different bank has different limits on their credit cards too. Am using Citibank and MBB. They do have certain limits. Not sure which bank card you are using.

Yesterday wanna use SPAY in Sime Darby hospital. The cashier say need physical card to key in card number.

Is it actually legal to keep my CC card number in the system?
*
i have the same experience at elsewhere. but i never have doubt on it. they could just taking record of the real number beside the "waved" digital number.

clause 5:
5. Eligible Cardmembers must perform a one-time SMS registration as stated in Clause 23 below
and perform minimum of RM15 per Samsung Pay transaction to be eligible for the Offer 1
(“Qualifying Criteria”).

do you think all tx have to be min rm15 inclusive tx 2, 4, 5 and so on ?

Min amount to be counted as qualifying/eligible transaction is RM 15.

1st transaction: min RM 15 <-> Qualifying/Eligible | RM 15 cash back
2nd transaction: min RM 15 <-> Qualifying/Eligible | NO RM 15 cash back
3rd transaction: min RM 15 <-> Qualifying/Eligible | RM 15 cash back
and so on and so forth ...

Exactly similar concept as Mastercard-SPay contest with just more finer TnC.

QUOTE(NightFelix @ Jan 31 2018, 10:39 AM)
So end of this day it will be

1) min. RM15 <-> Qualifying/Eligible | RM15 Cashback
2) min. RM15 <-> Qualifying/Eligible | NO Cashback
3) min. RM15 <-> Qualifying/Eligible | RM15 Cashback
4) min. RM15 <-> Qualifying/Eligible | NO Cashback
5) min. RM15 <-> Qualifying/Eligible | NO Cashback
6) min. RM15 <-> Qualifying/Eligible | RM15 Cashback
7) min. RM15 <-> Qualifying/Eligible | NO Cashback
8) min. RM15 <-> Qualifying/Eligible | NO Cashback
9) min. RM15 <-> Qualifying/Eligible | NO Cashback
10) min. RM15 <-> Qualifying/Eligible | RM15 Cashback

Total Spend: RM150
Total Cashback: RM60
Total REALLY REALLY Spend: RM150 - (RM60 Cashback) = RM90 laugh.gif
