lol...u sure s.t.a.l.k.e.r. can run on a SZ48? even my desktop is struggling with the framerates. sweat.gif
i thought all C2D processors have 4MB L2 cache? or maybe that's just for desktops?

RM300+ is crazy money for 1GB DDR-2 SODIMM RAM. i bought mine during PC Fair and enquired about the 1GB stick. the sales dude offered Kingston @ RM210. but i still went and bought it at LYP. only cost RM180.

not all C2D has 4mb cache, even for desktop also only E6600 and above processor has 4mb L2 cache. for laptop is T7200 and above

Guys... question: Is the VAIO cleaning kit worth buying? How do you guys keep the lappie clean... I'm having dust problems at my workplace so it tends to get quite dusty... the monitor is easy to swipe clean, but the keyboard and speaker area, not so. Recommendations?

^ i think you can try 3M cloth or the cloth use to clean the spectacles glasses to clean the monitor. as for keyboard and the outer casing, just use handkerchief. thats what im doing now.

imho, i think buy it only you have extra cash for it. because there are many alternatives available out there.

you can try buy low power mini vacuum to suck out the dust inside the keyboard

Added on April 25, 2007, 7:01 pmbesides im using usb keyboard and mouse..so i dont put my hands on notebooks, only if i gone travel. because i dont feel comfortable to type words for some hours on notebook's keyboard.

Yeah... thats what I've been using really. But I really feel like getting a mini vacumn cleaner to suck the dust out of the small gaps in the keyboard. I use usb mouse too but the SZ keyboard is full sized and I find it comfy to use.

The spacebar just don't give any respond when I tap at the both side ends of it, the centre part is working fine. I'll be sending it for repair when I go back to Malaysia, I just regretted for not paying for the overseas warranty.

one piece of advice, never go to sony style for warranty claim or service. make your move straight to the sony service center instead. faster and reliable.
