Can get this if you are interested in gateron switches. Which it's linear are much smoother compared to cherry linear.

It also comes with a relatively thick PBT keycaps.

Been reading 17pages of review. Seem like filco is the way to go. Red switch for gaming and blue for typing. Used red and brown before. Wana try something new like mx blue for a change. But i game more than typing so seem like a bad idea buying blue..

Any opinions? Seem like filco feels the best, honestly havent tried ducky or poker before so i cant judge.

By the way, any good replacement keys icould get from? To spice up the KB, hehe

What a great day to start CNY. In less than 1 month, my white LEDs on numpad 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, . , enter and + failed on my masterkeys pro L white. ==

P/S: now it's ok. But these keys LEDs can flicker sometimes. I better not turn on the lights anymore.

This made me glad I opted for a non-backlit/RGB kibod. Kinda concerning seeing a reputable brand/product line like CM Masterkeys have such problems so soon after purchase.

Ducky is a very reputable mech keyboard brand. I've heard of Keycool but their quality maybe not up to Ducky level.

Store uni.. Think they have them in stock now.

It took me a few days to get used to the function keys. overall its pretty good. I swapped the right fn with right alt.. Prefer it that way.

Oh its quite easy to show off cuz it can be wireless and has cool lighting modes. Only thing that I worry about now is that some reddit users have experienced battery / led issues (one of the downsides of backlit once again).

i've been looking at a few keyboards and narrowed down to this few:
- cm storm rapid i (rm429)
- ducky one (rm 319 tkl)
- ducky zero (rm 369)
- ducky zero shine (rm 419)
- filco majetouch 2 (rm 469)

all price from ultimate zone

any sifus can give some 2 cents regarding their durability and value for money, etc etc?
mostly used for typing and casual gaming

thanks in advance

Thanks for the response. The former (battery issues) is one of the downsides of a wireless keyboard as well. And IIRC, the battery is not secured to the bottom case at all?

What do you think of the stock keycaps? The font seems a bit too funky IMHO.

This is a good read of the current known issues about this board. personally i haven't check the battery yet blink.gif

i came from a QFR-i so the pbt definitely feels more premium than before. i'm ok with the font i guess, at least it doesn't look like papyrus. would definitely change the keycaps after chinese new year tho.

as for typing, damn hhhnnnggghhh !

I don't think you can get a mechanical keyboard for RM50, even the China ones. But if below RM200, off the top of my head I can recall the following: Magicforce 68, Anne Pro, Ajazz AK33, Fuhlen. There may be others but I can't remember them now.
I'm no expert but it depends if you want 'gamery' keyboards or more basic ones. The former would include Razer, Corsair, CM, Steelseries, etc. I'm not too familiar with the later, but if the more basic ones without RGB/backlit maybe can take a look at the Ducky Zero TKL non backlit & also IKBC TKL. CM Storm also have a few models which falls between the gamer crowd & the more serious work crowd..e.g. the Quickfire TK & Trigger Z.

Sorry to hear this year's angpow collection not up to par sad.gif

I'm no sifu but IMHO, the Ducky One non backlit TKL is a good solid choice for a first board. Others might be able to chime in with other suggestions.

The only complain I have with my Ducky One fullsize is that the spacebar & certain other large keys are a bit 'rattly' sounding. This might be an inherent negative trait of Cherry stabilizers or it could be my board/keys only, I am not 100% sure and YMMV.

I think you will be satisfied with that keyboard. Reviews that I read seems to be positive although they are the backlit version.
With such pricing also makes me want one in red switch. Yeah thanks for gib me poison. laugh.gif

Haven't been typing much lately until this morning (practicing copy writing). Oh man, typing early in the morning with the sound of keyboard really got
me in the feels. Same effect like sipping a nice cup of hot coffee. laugh.gif

Don't worry, you can just do the stabilizer mod on all keyboard which are using cherry stabilizers. You only need to desolder just 1 switch for 1 stabilizer and you can remove the stabilizer from the board already. Don't need to desolder all the switches on the board.

Anyone knows where I can get Leopold keyboard here? I know Ultimate Zone has them but the model I want (FC750R) no more, seems like they only bring in very limited stock.

Hi I bought 60% pcb from taobao that use ps2avrgb (link) package b.

This is my 2nd board. Before I solder all the switch, I plugged in to my pc to test if the board is fully functional. When I plugged in, it detect keys pressed eventhough there is no switch soldered.

Both pcb are similar from same seller. Key pressed cant detect on bootmapperclient and http://www.keyboardtester.com/ . Only http://en.key-test.ru/ can detect which keys pressed. I bought it through ezbuy and asked them to ask the seller if this problem can be solved. No reply yet because of holiday.

On bootmapper client I can download the current layout and edit the led setting.

What I have done using bootmapper:

1) Upload empty keymap : unsucessful.
2) Flash new firmware : unsucessful
