i have never tried the CHERRY MX-BOARD 2.0 myself but there's a lot of negative comments online saying that the typing feel is really bad even though the MX Board 2.0 is using cherry switches.

the keycaps are low profile so it might suit your preference. just bear in mind that the Capslock key on the MX Board 2.0 has a weird mounting that normal keysets won't be able to fit on this key.

Your budget is too low, most Cherry MX switches keyboards are above RM 300.
Since this club is established for so long, your budget is not realistic.

For recommendation according to current pricing:
Ducky One TKL Non-Backlit (Doubleshot ABS keycaps) = RM 319
iKBC C108 Non-Backlit (Doubleshot PBT keycaps) = RM 349
iKBC C87 Non-Backlit (Doubleshot PBT keycaps) = RM 329

These 3 are considered near to RM 300 marks while reputable branding.

That Cherry definitely a low tier board. I would suggest save up and get a better ones like a Filco majestouch 2. Yes it is bloody expensive but for the quality it offers, worth it.
I know because I am using it now as I type this comment. It is like a typist wet dream and it is so discreet that the wife did not even notice I changed the keyboard to mechanical. laugh.gif

Mx Brown is good for you. Try get a filco in the future. It's a distinct upgrade from ur current board.

+1 on Filco. I have the MX brown one and it is really good especially for those who always bottom out when typing like me. laugh.gif

Thanks for the suggestion, I am seriously looking into the Filco. The vicious cycle has probably started smile.gif Is yours the Ninja? Full size or TKL?
*
QUOTE(irsyadfy @ Jan 18 2017, 10:14 AM)
Filco +1. if u do much typing, get blue. simpan ur red for gaming n bash em good.
*
Mine is a full size. Blue is nice but it will be much noisier than brown especially when you love to bottom out when typing.
But since you have already the red one, either blue or brown is a great addition to your keyboard collection. laugh.gif

thx for the reply sifus sekalians..

after some thoughts, am most likely going with ducky one tkl non-backlit..
duit raya cny jatuh this year  cry.gif

anyone had/has one and has any form of dissatisfaction with it?
or got other recommendations?
*
I think you will be satisfied with that keyboard. Reviews that I read seems to be positive although they are the backlit version.
With such pricing also makes me want one in red switch. Yeah thanks for gib me poison. laugh.gif

Haven't been typing much lately until this morning (practicing copy writing). Oh man, typing early in the morning with the sound of keyboard really got
me in the feels. Same effect like sipping a nice cup of hot coffee. laugh.gif

Hello guys

Can i know which mechanical keyboard is the most budget and good?
*
I recommend Ducky Zero dk2108. Reasonably good but no backlight. IIRC can get one for under RM350.

Erm, 300 below I think able to afford..
*
If you live in KL, and if sri computer still have it, you can get an Asus strix MKB with backlight for less than RM300 although the backlight may not suit your build theme.

Other than you need at least RM400 to have a decent MKB with backlighting and that budget is still limited in choices.

Those you guys mention is good mkb?
What is the best switch for gaming? I really know nothing on mkb..
*
I am not sure whom is the OEM for asus keyboard.
To be safe I recommend MKB from coolermaster, ducky and filco
other guys can chime in on other reputed brands.

Avoid mkb from cherry itself as it does not have good build quality.

as for switches, if you mostly gaming then red switch is best.
Blue switch if you do mostly typing. Brown is for people who do not like the noise from blue switch but still wants that tactile feeling.

Hi, just wondering. Any pbt keycaps that is compatible with corsair k70? A friend of mine got his abs WSAD keycaps cracked so maybe its about time to change those keycaps.

Also in case my friend got fed up with the keyboard and want to change, what is the best equivalent keyboard you guys recommend? He want the backlit types since he is the type who types in the dark lol.

for wasd replacement key set, this one is ok. (Backlit PBT WASD Set)

for k70 replacement, your friend can opt for ikbc f-series (already with pbt double-shot keycaps), or coolermaster masterkeys pro (abs keycaps).
this one is really ok. (Backlit PBT WASD Set)

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll make sure I tell him about this. thumbsup.gif

Hai peeps. Filco TKL red switch checking in. Been using the board for a few years ad. Now ass itchy feel like getting a blue switch board. FML. Dunno whether should get back Filco or not. My bank account will cry.
*
Why do you need a blue switch keyboard? Unless you do a lot of typing getting a blue switch is a bit unnecessary.

I plan to buy Logitech G610 from Lazada but Im not sure whether the product is genuine or fake. Anyone have any idea how to verify the keyboard?
*
What is your budget for that keyboard? I suggest you buy that from your trusted seller instead from lazada. If the keyboard got problems it would be easier to send for RMA.
