Ya, but the camera not same and ram not same can also sharew the same software? Lol

Of course some files/drivers are not same.
The version name is same, doesn't mean the file is same.

Hi guys, just wondering for those who have used sony phones for quite some time, what do you think about the sharp edges? I am thinking of getting xz2 compact, but I'm worried that the sharp edges would be very uncomfortable for long usage.

Up and running with Oreo.
I like how the Home icon changes when you tap on it.

So far only noticed the aesthetic changes. Also how the wallpaper fades out when you open the apps pages (or maybe that was there before...)

After few days of Oreo, i very satisfy on it. Super smooth near to 0 lag unless heavy gaming + phone heat up. RAM management is working now, 92% ram usage without lag, unlike 7.1. This is only flagship level performance.

So far, my review is
Performance: 7.0 > 8.0 > 6.0 > 7.1
Stability: 8.0 > 6.0 > 7.0 > 7.1
Battery: 8.0 > 6.0 > 7.0 > 7.1

Overall: 8.0 > 7.0 > 6.0 > 7.1

when you guys update to Oreo, do you format first or just use as it is?

some say need to format first in order to see the "true" potential of the updated android. smile.gif

AFAIK you can only clear update cache from Recovery Mod. Not from OTA or Companion update.

Thank you for your feedback.

I'm actually looking at "Settings > Storage > Internal shared storage > Cached Data" which previous versions of Android have but after updated to Oreo, its vanished!

But after google it, found that its been removed from Oreo. rclxub.gif

I prefer using original android stock to clear cache as using 3rd party, it doesn't 100% clear the cache.

I didn't realize this function is gone. I never clear cache unless low space. Never clear for XZ because 64gb is much enough for me.

I prefer the new oero way, just let it auto.
