Actually not much difference between z5p and XZP.. just design language towards to new side curved edge screen. Seriously Sony delivered quite a good IPS panel since z5 series. They are serious now. Packed with 835 and 4gb with exclusive camera sensor and features. Looking forward to the camera review of XZs or XZP

Yes owning it.. no issue so far except recent nougat update have few bugs. Believe me, 810 in z5 series is a lot better than z3+.. dual heat pipe did a good job and conduct heat and dissipate the heat very fast

Just within 2years time, Z5 & Z5P, X & XP, XZ, now XZs & XZP.
(Some maybe will argue that only the premium version is the flagship, but i don't agree that because a similar high end spec, with different screen actually are both flagship. Just like consider only IP7+ is only flagship but not IP7 or only galaxy note not galaxy s.)
I feel Sony strategy is stupid, its products do not fight its competitors, but itself. Who still buying their XZ now which is only 4months old unless the price is quite different (it cuts its own price). It doesn't honor their customers but embarrassing them by outdating their phone in 4 months.
I think they focus on a cybershot and a walkman series will help them grab back the market share, at least it won't fighting itself.

also gotten the 9H back protector with lens and flash protector
after applying the phone is much more reflective and no longer have that matte finish to it
but it is not as slippery as i thought it would be

I find my xz is laggy when playing some of the latest mobile games while my friend who using samsung or huawei dun have this issue.....

Track ID became worse last 2 years.
It was good as the other many years ago.

Removed my Devilcase bumper and using it naked. Somehow, the feel is damn good.

I bought my XZ Dual last December, and here's my personal view on it so far;

It feels premium, and at the point of buying it, it was one of the best high end smartphone available at the time. There was nothing really to complain about, until a few months of heavy usage.

I consider myself as a heavy user; switching from one app to another, playing games continuously, constantly taking pictures and videos, streaming videos, browsing social media at times, and using chat apps one after another.

Sure at first it was flawless without a hint of lag. However after only 3 months of using it, it started to lag and apps were crashing and lagging, especially when I played highly demanding games such as Asphalt 8, NOVA and even Mobile Legends. And at this point, my memory usage was only 50%++ of its physical memory. And with each update they rolled out, it feels more lag than the previous. Not to mention that the device itself would heat up considerably, unless you are playing it inside an air conditioned room.

Continuous use of the camera also pose another problem in a country like our's. It heats up very fast after few shots or after few minutes of recording in HD. Its gotten to a point (multiple times) where only basic camera function was available because the device was getting too hot. Sometimes it just shuts you off, due to the temperature increase, and you are unable to use it.

It feels premium while holding it, sure the resultant pictures and videos are something to boast about, and the screen is beautiful especially when watching HD videos, but with only 3GB of RAM I don't think it is even relevant for power users anymore in 2017 when apps are getting more and more memory demanding and users are getting ever greedier (even me) and are expecting more from a brand that they know and loved. Its a flagship product at the time of launching, but after only 2 months or so, other brands had rolled out even far more superior phone when compared to this.

Oh yeah guys, any recommendation for tempered glass protection for the XZ/XZs that can be obtained locally?

I passed by Lowyat recently but the 'official' Sony ones look pretty meh to me.

Around... 80-90+ ringgit :v and it felt flimsy when applied to one of their demo units.

Yes i am using it currently. For me the touch and feel similar.
It's smooth so far.
I notice that the screen part and the edges got glue also.
But really need to apply correctly.

Last time i did not notice, the water came through the SP.
