I usually settle the total outstanding within few days of using credit card, or sometimes before month end so not really worried about that.

also doenst matter the finance charge. MBB set to 30% also I'm not worried.

as long as u r a good paymaster, finance charges would not "meet" you brows.gif

last time i only applied for Visa, and couple of month after that I applied for Mastercard too. lel

I applied Mastercard because once a month I topup my touch n go at Jaya Grocer. got 5% rebate on Friday . better than nothing biggrin.gif

Sorry newbie question. First time using CC card for petrol.
Just swipe Petronas Ikhwan card but got a message RM200. Check online nothing been shown yet. Will need to wait working day for actual amount to be reflected right?

And this amount will be the outstanding amount for the CC. How many days I have to clear this before being penalized the hefty interest?

most cc does this...however the actual amount you pump will be reflected in statement..in 1 to 3 days

u clear your oustanding according to statement.

refer the payment due date stated in the statement (page 1, top-right or M2U).

pay the billed amount on or before due date.

I never received any sms when i use my card at any petrol station..

Yeah, Pay the statement amount before due date, if you worried, pay a within a few day unless you got dispute of the charges
