Hi all, wanted to ask on the Ikhwan Amex using to pay SPayLater - does Maybank have a similar problem as Public Bank where Shopee related transactions appear to be 8 hours earlier (GMT+0) - hence for example a transaction at 6am on 1st October would appear in Public Bank system to have been done late at night on 30th September?

So far never happen to me

Only Shopee/ShopeePay switch to a special channel with GMT+8 for Public Bank credit/debit cards.

For Maybank Visa/MC or most of the other banks card, Shopee/ShopeePay use Maybank channel.

For CB calculation, transaction Date is not a factor for Ikhwan Amex. Transactions POSTED on 30/9 -> Sep CB
Transactions POSTED on 1/10 -> Oct CB

For mine it is relevant as there is a promo (new cardholders) where qualification is earliest X spenders within the month.

Application for Petronas Visa got rejected despite already holding another Ikhwan card. I wonder if it is due to my recent UOB card application or many BT showing at eccris

So strange, I got it with no issue as I was holding the Ikhwan MC.
However, I applied mine from the The Gardens card centre.

Applied via email. Another culprit maybe the US FATCA declaration thing. I wrote not applicable but they told me to fill up and sign that part too which I later did. Anyway, I emailed for reconsideration and granted the same shared limit as Ikhwan Amex.

I usually just fill in as not applicable (which is the truth in my case) and sign whatever required.

Amex-i Platinum RM40000
Visa-i Gold RM30000
Visa-i Platinum RM60000

If you have Amex-i Platinum, should be no problem to add Visa-i Gold, but not Visa-i Platinum, need to apply and they may reject it.
