Does anyone know if this Maybank Islamic Ikhwan American Express Platinum will work on all online platforms? E.g. insurance payment, condomaster payment, Shopee/Lazada? Or it is selective?

I came from there, I am asking about platform acceptance. Like when I go to Condomaster, I only see the Visa Mastercard logo. I don't recall every seeing AMEX logo when paying online. So does it only apply for selective merchants.

Can somebody please clarify. There is conflicting information. Does purchase of insurance via Etiqa website (EGTB, EFTB, ELIB, EGIB) qualify for 8% cashback?

I applied via email. It was approved within 5 days. Previously, I have applied via Ringgitplus (twice) and M2U (twice), always kena auto reject.

I applied for the Maybank Ikhwan Amex Platinum. Or so I thought. I received the Maybank Ikhwan Mastercard instead. I thought Maybank made an error, but turns out it was my error, I ticked the wrong card in the application form. In my defence, they have too many cards and I selected the first Maybank Islamic Ikhwan card I saw. Might have gotten American Express and Mastercard mixed-up for a second too.

Anyways, I immediately call Maybank. They said they can change the card without any other action required from my end. A week later, it's been approved and I got the "correct" card.

Now to see where the Amex Ikhwan can be used.

Is there a "cheat list" of applicable online merchants for the Ikhwan Amex to get the 8% cashback?

Is it based on statement month or calendar month?

Anyone knows if Atome payments are considered online?

What is the card number? In front got 15 digits, behind the card got extra 3 digits.

There is also another 4 digits code in front.

What are the extra 3 digits at the back of the card?

Lazada doesn't accept Amex any longer? I can't save my card. It says only Mastercard and Visa available!

Is it confirmed that for Ikhwan AMEX Platinum, the RM100 bonus months are Fed and Mar 2025? Can Maybank make changes to this?

My statement is 4th of the month

I overlooked paying my card for 4 days. Will I kena any penalty?

My min payment amount is RM50, which has been "paid" via the cashback credited after the statement date. But the rest of the balance was unpaid by 4 days.

This won't be recorded on CCRIS as the late payment was settled before month-end (i.e. due on 21st and paid on 24th). CCRIS late payments only show up if there are unpaid overdue balances at month end.
