I am paying my car insurance +roadtax via Allianz General(AG) which accepts TNG ewallet offline by scanning AG DN QR code, can I use Shopee Paylater for this n then payback by Amex-ikhwan to get cb n how?

The answer is at the merchant QR. You need to try.

Some merchants are willing to pay extra charge then you may use credit card / Buy-now-pay-later as source of fund instead of using e-wallet credit / CASA.

Hi guys, I cancelled my Amex credit card then applied the petronas card. Today I got message it not successful but imposible cos I meet all criteria and have been use maybank amex 10 years.

It it reject because I haven't paid out standing balance for the amex? Or is the cancel for ringgitplus application? Cos first I apply comparehero and then saw ringgitplus got better gift and apply again but it didn't let me proceed also

Since you still have outstanding balance at Maybank CC, it means your Amex and credit limit is not cancelled.

Therefore Maybank Islamic won't give you a new credit line.

Why not you CONVERT your existing Maybank credit line to Maybank Islamic credit line?

I think this may still work:

I) Apply like normal applications
II) If method I fails, ask to split your existing conventional credit limit into an Islamic credit limit.
III) If method II fails, convert your Maybank card to Islamic card.

Thanks I think is the problem. Unfortunately I already cancel so no more credit limit. I just paid the outstanding balance today. Should be able reapply right? Cos want to get the rm50 tounchandgo from compare hero

Why not discuss with Maybank Card Centre directly?
Ask them to convert instead of cancel.

Forget third party service provider. Maybank Islamic may reject your new application. Also you are NOT new Maybank / Maybank Islamic credit card customer to get new cardholder benefits.

Surprisingly existing card holder is eligible for another gift criteria, and also the guaranteed gift.

I have M2P, then recently I applied for Islamic amex platinum, they gave me a separate credit limit, I thought that was normal? apparently not?
Seems I was 3 weeks too early to apply for it, otherwise I would have a shot for the gift, there's no more card that I want from maybank now.

Just found this at the SPaylater page, so can use this Allianz 0%installment plan n get cb from Amex-Ikhwan? Truely 0%?
BTW I should select payment by Spaylater PayNextMonth-0%(can settle b4 1st-of-next month?) and not direct pay-by-cc to get the cb?
BTW do I add the cc in BankAccount/Cards under Credit/Debitcard or Creditcard Installment?

Yes 0%. I purchase from shopee too for my car insurance. Select Spaylater for payment method then pay on next month before 10th. Then choose which card to pay for Spaylater.

ps: U need to check which period got 0% installment, IIRC, not every period(1 month, 3months, 6month or 12months) got 0%.

For some cases, motortakaful.com may be cheaper and may get cashback from Etiqa Takaful (profit sharing, to be credited a few months after the takaful expires).

Can use spay later, but not all instalment option available, maybe 1mth maybe 3 mths. I suppose if under spaylater, consider paying shopee so entitle Cashback, not sure though.

Actually i am using etiqa for another less used car cos got 2 rebates including less use more rebate.
I am continuing with Allianz for another car which is now in workshop claiming 3rd party insurance n i wont get the car b4 insurance expiry. Just want to play safe.
