I paid Unifi, IWK, Sarawak Energy at Lazada App and Shopee App (Airpay) and got 8% online CB. They are online transactions and paid to Lazada and Airpay directly.

Hi. Read your post on findings that it's possible to get cash back when using GrabPay in store. Have you managed to get the cb via the said method?

I've successfully added my Amex into GrabPay, but when trying to pay at a retail store by scanning their Grab QR today, Grab prompts me to top up credit into the wallet using the Amex card. AFAIK, wallet top ups are not eligible for CB, right? So how do you go about to get this to work?

Note: I just newly registered a grabpay account. Not really sure if there's Quick Payment-like option similar to TnG and still allows for cash back.

Want to confirm that Ikhwan Petronas Visa Platinum n Ikhwan Mastercard cashbacks r based on posted transactions in a calendar month, like Ikhwan Amex?

Does anyone know if this Maybank Islamic Ikhwan American Express Platinum will work on all online platforms? E.g. insurance payment, condomaster payment, Shopee/Lazada? Or it is selective?

I came from there, I am asking about platform acceptance. Like when I go to Condomaster, I only see the Visa Mastercard logo. I don't recall every seeing AMEX logo when paying online. So does it only apply for selective merchants.

from issuer side, follow t&c especially Islamic card.

from merchant side, no necessarily as it could be commercial-dependent. they can choose during onboarding with their acquiring bank.

because merchant can decide whether to offer amex separately.

the mdr is different and usually higher than visa/mc, hence most merchants avoid amex to increase their nett profit without paying more to their acquirer bank.

Can you do that with spotify? I wanted to pay manually every month to get the cashback but there isn't an option to proceed without a credit card.

What about netflix?

You need to cancel the subscription first then re-subscribe (Subscribe > Cancel > Re-subscribe).
I can do it with Disney Hostar.
I subscribe for 3 Months - by charging my card manually the first time. Then i cancel the subscription. After 3 months, I subscribe manually again.

I don't have Spotify but as far as i know, if you can cancel the subscription, then you should be able to re-subscribe back manually, and not let it auto deduct your card.
Same for Netflix.
