Use the fuel vouchers from Monday to Sunday, not limited to Friday to Sunday.

Since you still have outstanding balance at Maybank CC, it means your Amex and credit limit is not cancelled.

Therefore Maybank Islamic won't give you a new credit line.

Why not you CONVERT your existing Maybank credit line to Maybank Islamic credit line?

I think this may still work:

I) Apply like normal applications
II) If method I fails, ask to split your existing conventional credit limit into an Islamic credit limit.
III) If method II fails, convert your Maybank card to Islamic card.

application review and approval is at HQ, not at the branch.

resubmission won't get different results as your previous application already has record there.

also, your definition of 'im more than qualify' doesn't guarantee approval because banks has more criteria of checking.

Maybank Islamic is known to be quite stringent and stingy too. I was also rejected for 2x before they approved me.

You don't qualify for Maybank Islamic's new credit line, as you still had a credit line from Maybank.
Normally Maybank Card Centre won't give a new credit line, unless your income is substantially improved from last review.

Also, apply directly at Maybank Card Centre, avoid third party and Maybank2U online application.

When you still had Maybank CC last month, emailed the Conversion form to Card Centre, almost 100% you would get approved for Maybank Islamic CC.

The M2U robot can be too smart to reject application even though you meet all the criterias. So email/talk to card centre, Maybankers are helpful.

Just wondering if Maybank can reinstate your credit line that you cancelled a few days ago. If possible, then spilt the credit limit into 2 parts, for conventional banking and islamic banking. Eg your existing credit limit RM20000, spilt into Maybank CC (Amex 5% CB) RM10000 and Maybank Islamic CC RM10000 (Visa-i 8% CB, MasterCard-i 5% CB, Amex-i 8% CB).

Then I emailed to card centre, human read my supporting documents and approved it and increased credit limit (I didn't request).

I applied for 3 times online before this. Got Rejected.

Lately for the past 2-3 months, telemarketing team from Maybank sent me 2-3 emails to apply for the credit card. Applied for 1 time, and APPROVED.

I think you should check your spam/junk folder. Their telemarketing team may send blast email to apply for the credit card.

I hate telemarketers, but when it comes to this situation, I truly appreciate them. 

I'm not sure why some comments mention you can't get islamic credit if u have maybank.

Just to share my own experience, I have maybank cc, I applied online for islamic card on December '23, and "instantly" got approved.
Why is say instantly is because, after I submitted, I check on MAE and saw the card, realised it's the wrong card showing, I immediately called to cancel.
I was told there was no system error, so they say likely it's human error on my end. The card was immediately cancelled, as shown in MAE app. 2 days later, the card arrived at my house.

On Feb '24, I apply online again for the card that I wanted, wasn't because of cooldown period or anything, just that I was lazy, and didn't really need the card.
Got "rejected" this time.

Then I went to Maybank credit card center and told the staff what happened, the whole story above, and he say can apply again with him. Approved this time.

tl;dr Probably you can try to apply at Maybank credit card center if you really want the card, and not the ringgitplus gift.
