you can contact metal zone or moderno....... but stock availabitliy not sure though.

btw any user of the swiftech h20 compact ?? want to know if u expand the loop what wil happen
*
if you expand it, you will decrease the performance yeilds.
the pump is just nice to the cpu, bet if you stretch the tubes any further, it wont be good.
even the nautilus sucked after a dude stretched the tubes and added in a GPU block.

whr is metal zone.??what u mean will happen???
*
check the Garage Sales.
he is asking performance wise when he expands the loop.

@sookyee
He's not at KL . ... but u could go to garage sales under CPU and etc section ..

He has a sales thread there brows.gif

@rozz_1291
hmm ... have to wait for any sifu with brilliant solution ..

It happened to me and I really try to tilt the case into different direction and restart the system more than 10 times ......

The process alone enough to keep me away from wc for good at least for now ..

@Ryoga
PC-Ice is easier to use than Hydrx .. because u don't need to mix it around with distill water ....

try squeeze the tubings a bit, it might help the bubbles to escape... personally i never use t-line as the bleeding takes time... juz use a reservoir... nice and easy with some reduction in performance...

Aiyoo.... da tubes is like rock hard... I can't even squeeze at all... cry.gif I know, but using a res takes up space... since my casing is kinda small n sempit.. tongue.gif A very small mid tower... sweat.gif

I wanna try out WC and was wondering wat's the different between the CPU block which have 3 hole and 2 hole. Which 1 better? I was thinkig of getting parts by parts before i start building up the WC. Any suggestion? i was thinking of WC my cpu, northbridge, GPU and ram too if possible. Wat else can wc? what is the rating of the pump that i need? How many radiatior i need? My spec as in my siggy =) thanks all sifus.

1.5K is more than enough to get a good WC system running.

ok a few question before i go to my bank book.

1. Swiftech MCW-60 GPU Waterblock can git 9600GT o not? Need RAMSink? or i can get the 8800 Unisink? which 1 better? COst wise VS performance wise.

2. I'm planning to go CPU, GPU and NB. 1 2X120MM rad enuf for all? or use 3X120 better? again, cost VS performance wise.

3. Planning to get the best CPU and best GPU blcok, which is the best bang for buck? CPU i read that fuzion is king of the hill at the moment which DDmaze4 or MCW-60 is not bad also, so which 1? price VS performance.

3. Maintanance wise, better to get cascade or wC better?

4. I'll be using D5 as my main pump, do i need a secondary pump if i have alot of blocks?

@GeneJin
for what i think... graphic card is better to be air cooled and u don't have to wc it if u don't plan to do extreme stuff like vmodding cuz 3rd party air cooler is more than enough... even 3x120mm rad is not really enough for cpu+gpu+nb cooling... futhermore u need a massive pump for it... cascade system is very costly and risk damaging ur system if not done properly... for watercooling, u need to flush the system once in a while to clear the sludge and slime... water cooling systems faces risk of leakage....

You will definitely need RAM sinks. I'm using those cheap old Thermaltake RAM sinks and they still work. MCW-60 is good enough and it should fit your card (check on Swiftech site).

2. I'm planning to go CPU, GPU and NB. 1 2X120MM rad enuf for all? or use 3X120 better? again, cost VS performance wise.
I have CPU + GPU WB plus 2x120mm rad and my load temps drop tremendously after changing over to WC from air. My 8800GT vmem/vgpu modded never hit above 47C load even at OC-ed settings. However your ambient temp would play a role here as well.

3. Planning to get the best CPU and best GPU blcok, which is the best bang for buck? CPU i read that fuzion is king of the hill at the moment which DDmaze4 or MCW-60 is not bad also, so which 1? price VS performance.
Maze4 and MCW-60 is about the same from what I read. They are also priced about the same so it's up to you smile.gif

3. Maintanance wise, better to get cascade or wC better?
WC is not that hard to maintain. Even with normal air cooling you'll still need to clean dust (which is also maintenance in some ways)

4. I'll be using D5 as my main pump, do i need a secondary pump if i have alot of blocks?
The D5 (MCP-655) is a good stuff from what I learned from Metalzone also. It's good enough but you can consider dual loop also if you want.

*
My replies above in blue. Well, not everyone would enjoy WC anyway so it depends on self preference smile.gif For me, I'm happy because I get a cooler system and less noise (from the fans).

dual loop user here, in my opinion, cpu temp are almost same as high end air cooled heatsink with lapped IHS and Heatsink.... but for GPU, the temp improved a lot... my 3870 never exceed 47c at oc'ed speed and temperature dropping from load to idle are very fast... i never tried my e8400 on air cooling vs water but my old x2 3800+ getting higher temps compare to last time on wc after changing to air cooled setup for my hometown rig, but not with thermalright heatsink but CM's GeminS, stock clock and voltage already higher than wc setup alot...

my blitz dead in an accident when adding a backplate to my mobo... short circuited... now using DFI after selling my 8800gt as need to get replacement urgently that time... not planning to watercool it d... i think the heatpipe system is good enough after adding some 40mm fans on to it... mayb watercool it in the future when i got extra pocket moneys.. but for now no upgrade till year end... blush.gif as ordered penryn Q9550 from friend of mine working in intel but still havent got stock, gotto spare some $$$ for it... tongue.gif currently running x300se while waiting the 3870 back from RMA... sweat.gif
