the TT big water SE seems nice but i think not good as high end fan cooler right? so wats the diff of temperature both of this??
*
seems nice?
when the pump starts to give probs, then u will think otherwise.
compared to high end HSF's, u will see up to a 10 degree diff, depending on what HSF and what proc of course

Plz comment:

Apogee GT - RM170
Cooltrek Silent pump - RM135
Swifttech Micro Res - RM 90
PC ICE Coolant - RM 110
Cooltrek Single Fan Radiator - RM 175

can it be enough to cool off a non OC E6600 C2D ?

and can i add on another DangerDen Maze4 GPU block - RM 200 yet does not face significant lost of cooling performance ??

anyway can Gigabyte Galaxy cool off CPU and GPU well (E6600 and 8800GTS)
*
to be honest that wont do much justice to ur rig.
u will need a dual rad atleast, well if u wanna save cost then use distilled water. dont need to use all those coolants (though performance wise, its better to use the coolants)
the pump is god stuff, just that rad.
the galaxy kit will definately be enough to cool off the GTS, but dont expect FANTASTIC results biggrin.gif

How about like this ??? Good enough

Apogee GT - RM170
Cooltrek Silent pump - RM135
Swifttech Micro Res - RM 90
Cooltrek Dual Fan Radiator - RM 230
(2x 120mm fan, dual-pass radiator)
Clearflex 1/2" ID flexi tube - RM 10 per feet(10 ft)

i will slowly add on another GPU cooler ...
*
yup. good enough
triple rad for VGA cooling biggrin.gif

do air bubbles cool down water temp???

if true , i gonna change radiator to fish air pump biggrin.gif
*
doesnt really affect ur temps. yet they should be avoided because it might cause complications in the loop.

nice one there Hahanoclue.
i just ventured into water cooling too.
my temps dropped by about 20 degrees on load. smile.gif
this is really the true power of water cooling

Got a point there lol... Guess a single triple rad will do... D-tek fuzion+ swiftech triple rad enough to run 4GHz daily on e8400?
*
hhmmm 4ghz is actually mild id say

how to make sure the block is bubble free if like that?cause we cant see whether it has bubble or not inside there.
well,u mean no matter hwo i mount the cpu block also same?
if open the reservoir cap will decrease whole setup's pressure is it?
btw,i'm using HKS Motorsport coolant, for turbo car,(stolen it from my bro brows.gif ) 10% of HKS coolant and 90% of Diamond water (to filter as much as mineral as possible)
any idea?
*
ive asked whether car coolants can be used but apparently if you dont use an appropriate one, you might damage you rad and pump

you can contact metal zone or moderno....... but stock availabitliy not sure though.

btw any user of the swiftech h20 compact ?? want to know if u expand the loop what wil happen
*
if you expand it, you will decrease the performance yeilds.
the pump is just nice to the cpu, bet if you stretch the tubes any further, it wont be good.
even the nautilus sucked after a dude stretched the tubes and added in a GPU block.

QUOTE(sookyee @ Apr 7 2008, 07:44 PM)
whr is metal zone.??what u mean will happen???
*
check the Garage Sales.
he is asking performance wise when he expands the loop.

but last time i order usa bulk from bombman = Primoflex blue uv tube...

huhuhuh still waiting

clearflex is kinda hard right? but its nice. super clear stuff and its nice to boast good coloured coolants smile.gif

My idle temp 30c.. is it ok for single radiator and DangerDen pump..? using swiftech  apogee Gt water block.. I think still got some bubble inside waterblock..
*
what is the clock speed and voltage?
if everything is pumped up a little then you are on the safe side, but looking at your config, i'd say youre on stock.
if there are bubbles, you need to pump them out if not your pressure will drop like mad sad.gif

a more definitive test of your WC setup is your load temps smile.gif

i actually did my own tec cooling.
what i did was i put the tec on some metal res, with an old P4 Heatsink and a fan on the other side,
didnt work out though. tongue.gif

is it true that high flowrate is not necessary good?.. u need some time for heat to dissipate  from the radiator..

the flow rate is more for your block rather than your rad dude. smile.gif

i just saw PETRONAS Coolant for car radiator...RM16 from petronas...can it be used in WC set? it said to prevent corrosion in the rad...mMmm.
*
your rad and the car rad are diff
i dont think your pump will like the coolant very much either

besides its said that distilled water still the best

tygon is useless.. get normal tubing .. save money. there is no diff if ur just on a simple loop and know how to bend the tubes. of course if uw ant tygon also can .. if u got the budget lah.  becarefull with teh yateloons. alot of fakes around.

rest of the specs are ok
*
depends one la.
for tight setups id say go for tygon else the ones metalzone has is a true winner smile.gif

dude, if u actually looked at my thread, or asked me,  im selling biocide doh.gif

comes with product liability warranty and guaranteed to work as well  laugh.gif
giant distilled water....

RM 4.5 for a 5.5L barrel LOL

hmm... if u cleaned it nicely before setting up the WC, shouldnt have :S
anywhere also can, just unplug tube or whereever lor... just make sure u dont spill it on ur components

Added on August 7, 2008, 7:40 pm@OFFTOPIC

im thinking of bringing in a few Laing DDC3.2 and Laing D5's

how many to bring in :S
*
uhm bro,
did you check the label correctly.
giant distilled water still has ions inside which makes the water suitable for humans to drink (some metal based ions. cant remember which ones)
if those things settle on your rad, you have to remove the whole rad again and clean it out with vinegar.

Of course im not saying that putting in the car battery water vs the giant water will give you immediate results, but in the long term its safer

car battery water is pure distilled water + no added stuff and it is safer to be put into your rad.
if both were the same then we can drink car battery water

sorry if i sound like a lecturer. just wanted to make sure your loop stays around for a long time tongue.gif
ps, i didnt mean to be violent/aggressive in this reply
