Those who swapped their note 7 for the S7e, was the screen crack warranty automatically transferred? How do you check?

Called Samsung Gurney Paragon and asked when will I receive the refund as I had returned it on Monday and still haven't received the money after 5 working days and the guy told me that they have submitted the refund forms to SME. I asked if the refund will be made by their company or SME and he said SME. So, I guess those who pre-ordered from Gurney Paragon will have to pester Samsung CS to hurry with the refund.

yes, and signed and resent to them. but so far still no money in my account yet. haha

Yesterday was the 14th day and Courts is still telling me to wait ... no idea exactly when refund can be made
I am helping my friend to get the refund whom I had sold the phone . He said is OK to wait for it even another 2 weeks!

Just received my refund from SES 1 Utama today. Sent in last Friday night.

Finally managed to swap my Samsung Note 7 to a Samsung S7 Edge.

No more 60% limit and worrying about going on domestic flights or overseas flights.

You made the right choice. Not worth risking it.

Was at the Indonesian airport earlier and there was no Samsung booth.

Also, it will take 30 days for refund if I submit thru Indonesia.

The Samsung Note 7 return booth is at KLIA and KLIA 2.

And no more worry about exploding note 7

Yup, but wanted to get a refund for my accessories. I had to go to Midvalley for that.

Anyway, my time with Note 7 is over. Moving on with Samsung S7 Edge.

Yeah hopefully Samsung S7 Edge doesn't explode.

I read the new batch of S7 Edge also explodes.

that's a wrong conception.

ALL phones have a chance for having faulty built production. which is why all the while i'm on the people are blowing things way out of proportion with the Note7 incident. just google search the modern popular phones of any brand 1 gen or 2 gen back and you'll see that there are such incidences and they are valid incidents. just that the reporting is not as fine a tooth comb as the note 7.

There's no such thing as 100% non explosive modern smartphone. just by seeing how dense it is packed nowadays to battery power ratio is already an indicator that it is much more susceptible for production failure than older gen phones.

Good to know but time for me to move on.

I don't want to have to come back and change another phone as this is the 2nd time. Luckily, my employer pays for my plane tickets.

Returned my phone on Tuesday. Today receive the refund email liao... Kudos sme...
