Hi All,
I am pasting this from a facebook group where some users are trying to take action. Hopefully you, and yes i mean you, (not anyone else) will do your part in demanding for our consumer rights and not be taken on a ride by conglomerates. Stop defending them. Currently only 16 users have done this, if all of us send in our grouses, we may be able to fight for our consumer rights and not pander to big companies. I know there are many in this forum that love to defend conglomerates to help themselves feel useful. You may also voice out your displeasure due to the slow, problematic, run-around refund issues you are currently facing to show how little assistance we are receiving and how we, the end users, are being inconvenienced. I doubt there are many companies that would allow us to take a month to pay them after giving us the goods. So why should we have to face the same? "Good news everybody. Now we need consent from everybody! Here are the list of request that I'll try to press on, 1) Refund for all Note 7 accessories no matter what brand they are as long as I can produce receipts for them. 2) Refund for official Samsung Screen Protector for Note 7 bought before 29th Sept. 3) Provide better compensation similar to official announce in South Korea. 4) Provide better handling of recall (now and future) such as providing loan unit if no exchange unit is available. This will serve as a case study for future recall practice for all companies. NCCC requires the following from you, 1) Name 2) IC 3) Note 7 IMEI 4) Demands Since I think most of us would not likely share the their IC out due to privacy concern (I do too). I would suggest that you all send an email to Daniel Jude Yap <daniel@nccc.org.my> personally. He will collectively send our demands to KPDNKK. To make everything simple, you can use the demands I posted above and edit it to your requirement. Please include the cost and receipts of the accessories you want to claim. Also, perhaps we should fix a common SUBJECT for the email to be sent to NCCC. How about "Malaysian Note 7 owners' request for Samsung Note 7 recall handling"? Please take action now to fight for our rights as consumers.
