I remembered that day someone posted on the transaction date fall on holidays and weekends for statement date.

May i know how it works actually ? Lol ..

My statement date normally is 5th of the month
Previous 3 statements are 5th May, 5th April and 5th March

I have the installments in one of my CC and will get charged on weekdays before weekend
E.g. 4th May 2019 (Friday)

My previous autobilling (insurance) is MBB and charged based on my statement date : 6th of the month.

This round i changed my auto billing (Insurance) to JOP.
Will the autobilling works same as installments charge date which will fall on statement date or by insurance policy date?

U may need to check with bank maybe your card application not processed or already got rejected. 20 days is too long. I got sms telling me approved in 5 days, get the card after 1 week.

So I didn't get LFC RM 50 cash back for May transactions despite spending RM 1500 (exactly)
Lodged a complaint to SCB and came back was told that one of my transaction UNICEF (donations) is not counted for spending
But all these while I did the same and got full cash back, just May get RM 25.
Worth another shot to complain again?

Ok, I might not need to terminate my JOP now because I have just signed up for another insurance plan with RM15k premium (RM1,250 to be autodebit from JOP monthly). This will entitle me for the first RM30 cap.

On top of that, I will only need to top up the other RM1,250 into my BigPay in order to fulfill the requirements for the other RM30 cap.

With that, I will have to try to "beg" for AF waiver every year now. With AF waived, I will have additional RM695 to spend annually. Without the AF waived, I will have to make do with RM445 annually.

Am I right to say this? Just to validate my plan.

EDIT: Deducted for SST which I missed out.

Same here. Got a shock when see the cash back is RM25 instead of the usual RM50. check the tnc, realised that government and many other spending is excluded. Not aware of the new tnc which was months ago, so many exclusion to keep track now sweat.gif
