For those have the similar case like me,
Confirmed with SC that monthly (zero interest) instalment should never be counted into cashback tier, they found the glitch and corrected it since last month. Luckily still managed to appeal and get back full cashback as I complain to them I could accumulate multiple instalments to hit the full cashback in the past 2 years. and this time need to spend kawkaw to hit full cashback already.. no more cashback for SC card instalment This post has been edited by weiquata: Jan 25 2019, 11:45 PM |

QUOTE(RokXIII @ Jan 25 2019, 09:29 PM) Called SC just now and asked regarding the Spend and Win daily cashback limit, the CS put on hold to read the T&C and told that there is no limit to win. For instance, spend RM1000 in 10 transactions with RM100 each will get 10 spin SMS. Doubt the CS did read the T&C correctly ๐๐ |

QUOTE(beLIEve @ Jan 16 2019, 07:32 PM) JOP on hand already, application processed on Jan 2. Now Liverpool. JOP didn't went through all this woh. Liverpool process today, also didn't tell me someone will be calling. I have a SCB CC for like 6 years...hardly ever used. I didn't apply Liverpool instantly because of the new T&C. Since everyone (who hasn't apply) also wondering, I made myself the guinea pig see can getaway with the $175 or not. I have enough data to substantiate, but bank entertain or not will be a different story altogether. Someone I befriended here say very easy to get waiver, so we'll see. Applied in 1st place as a favour to a sales staff. Had been calling in every year to cancel card, but always ended up keeping the card ...annual fees waived and at almost everytime, will get some extra credit back with like 3 swipes, no minimum amount. THis year..same story. SST also "off set". They offered Liverpool Card . No need to submit any documents. Received approval few days after call. According to CS --The annual fees will appear in the statement but will be reversed on activation of card. Also said about some cash back on x swipes...no minimum amount...i wasn't paying attention as was in midst of something when CS called. |

Maybe to play it safe, call in before AF and see what the customer support says? then ask if still need to pay AF if want to cancel by then. My point is, put the burden back to the bank as much as possible, so that we can save paying the AF if bank decides not to waive it.
SST I think they cannot openly say sponsor you. So just ask you spend some money with the card and get rebate. |

SCB JOP/Liverpool cashback quota refresh date is follow statement date or 1st of every month?
My note is "Cashback is based on transaction date (not posting date) within a calendar month." Correct? If the transaction is done in this month but posted in next month, the cashback will still count in this month quota? My statement date is 1st of every month so I don't really look into this previously. thanks. |

I assume CB quota refresh also on the 1st of every month? |

It is card feature, no quota to fight with.. as long as u meet the minimum spending and the cashback categories within the month, u will get cashback the following month (self redemption at 360 rewards) |
