I have been SCB credit card holder for almost 10 years. Now, just recently I received email from SCB that my new combine limit is only 11K. It is like 82% cut of my original limit. I have always use the card for some petrol, some groceries purchases, internet bill auto debit and never missed a payment and always repay the card in full. Why out of sudden SC cut my limit? That new limit is basically not quite useful now.
Anyone experiencing same thing?
It is quite hard to navigate through their SC phone menu as their menu making us quite difficuly to reach to a human assistant.

RM0 StanChart: The combined credit limit for your credit card(s) will be revised to RM25,000 immediately and will be regularly adjusted as needed.

Just received by sms. Revise almost 60% from previous cr limit

Simply cash used to have ewallet as cashback category. Understand it have dropped ewallet from cashback category. But does ewallet still consider as part of retail purchase, to meet the RM2500 cutoff?

Yes, so far ewallet still counted as retail purchase to meet 2.5K spend.

Question.

Does anyone know without submitting documents, can I just request to add another card? Because I was a long time user of SimplyCash and since they raised their minimum annual income to 8k/month for all cards, I can just request to add card right (want to request for Journey) or this only works for MBB?

I believe you will still need to submit the latest income proof.

If higher tiers, you will need to. This applies to all banks. If you already have the higher tiers cards and apply lower tiers cards later, then you don’t need to. I recalled Liverpool and JOP were same levels anyway.

Just requested to cancel my simple cash cc even though I had very high credit limit. No waiver for annual fee this year and tired of using secure mail to beg for annual fee waiver yearly.

Im planning cancelling mine next month cos the annual fee will be charging next month. If waiver request unsuccessful then i cancel.

The annual fee is very funny. They give u cashback but annual fee offset the cashback given lolol.

I logged in to CCRIS to check my other cards and noticed that the SCB line has been completely removed. Luckily, I don't lose out as their cards are no longer attractive.

Cancelled and never looked back. Maybe next time when they have some attractive sign up offer in RP I may consider.

Applied thru RP last year to SC then get very nice cashback. After one year usage, cancelled last few days. Yesterday received email said cc removed from the app. No call out whatsoever to verify. I think now cut cost no retention team liao... Hahaha...

Hi WTA if I made payment (by Simply Cash) to KFC online or app, is it entitled cash back under "Dining" category?
