forget fixing the LCD, fix yourself.

If you didn't get me, i'm just saying a dead pixel or 2 is inevitable.
Even Sony said if you have less than 5 dead pixel, you're not entitled to a warranty claim.

why not just bear with it?
I admit it's hard at first but sooner or later, you'll barely notice it's there.

If you're very rich, then just go buy the first batch of PSPs Jap console.
Some of the early birds here have them. Their LCDs are manufactured by Sharp, no stuck/dead pixels. That was until Samsung took over (maybe they offered cheaper LCDs??) and Sony began mass producing PSPs with cheap-ass LCDs. And speaking of samsung, i never liked samsung anyway

you haven't converted your .wmv files? use a software like, ImTOO and convert your video files to mpeg4. then put them in the video folder.

i'd get alot of request for that psp.
its normal to hav stuck pixels. i bought mine and it poped out 1 week after.
hav u own one? u better take a look at someone's psp and judge it
urself with that many stuck pixels does it really matter
when u bz playing games?. well, i dont. i didnt even noticed it.

to overcome dead pixels problem. just buy a new lcd.
and change it urself. i did browse a few sites selling the lcd's
and its quite cheap really ( for an lcd )
convert to malaysia ringgit i'd say rm100-200.

but i need help regarding to my psp. Last few days i just finished playing Metal Gear and i just left it on because i'm too lazy to wait infront of the psp reading the credits. then i went to see my psp, of course it'll be out of battery, i know that could be coming. but then i've tried to charge it , like usual using the adapter. but there was no orange light (which means that i'm using the adapter) and i can't turn on the psp. i tried switching the socket here and there but no avail to that. but i just realize that the adapter was kinda hot when i turn the switch on. is the problem is with my PSP's battery or the adapter?

I don't have time to go to any shop to settle the problem, so i guess anyone here could help me maybe ?

try take out the battery, plug in the adapter & turn it on. If it doesn't work then its most likely the adapter problem, else maybe both also got problem

Hi forumers.. I'm a newbie in PSP moding coz just got my own psp a few days ago from bernard..my firmware is 3.10 OE-A'.

I want to play PSX game in my psp, so do i need to install or have to add some software or what?
Is my fw can play all kind of games?

NO need to install additional software. 3.10OE-A is more than enough. You just have to put the files into your /PSP/Game/ folder and start it.

there are folder game, game150, game310... so what the different in each folder? game150 is for what? game310 for what?

find out? well you can try viewing several wallpapers with only 1 colour such as black,white,blue,green,yellow,red. with this way you'll know if you have a stuck pixel. anyways stuck pixels will go back to active if you're lucky it did happened to my monitor

yesterday i find out, that hv a shadow in my right corner of my LCD screen.
like kena press by a heavy thing or outside force..
but the LCD performance still normal la..
somemore + batt problem= sianz....

same wt mine...
this half moon shadow on the usb area...
but it's only visible on dark display...
not a problem for me

welcome glad to help. well stuck pixel isn't the thing you should be worried i'm more worried about my scratched faceplate done with my friend's T-Shirt

Well its quite simple actually, to see if your psp has stuck pixel, while you are in the main menu or game, push the power button and let your psp go on stanby.

Then if there is stuck pixels on the screen (cross your fingers) they will appear as tiny white pixel/lines before the screen totally switches off and goes on standby mode.

thanks king. I searched over the internet, and found out SVC 0.5 only compatible in fw 1.5 and 2.71 SE-C.. My psp is 3.10 OE-A'... so does this mean i have to downgrade my fw before i install SCV?
